*people whispering: oh my god i can't believe she showed up; she doesn't belong here anymore 

Cheryl: Hey Betty don't listen to them you belong here

Betty: yeah 

Cheryl: i have to meet with weatherbee about the vixens but i will find you at lunch

Betty: okay 

*Cheryl walks away and Betty goes to the blue & gold 

***meanwhile 

Toni: so this is basically everything

Jughead: you said something about newspaper?

Toni: yeah down the hall but you should know something about the girl who runs it  

Jughead: i think i will be okay. i worked on the newspaper at southside high  

*jughead leaves before toni can finish

***in the blue & gold

Betty: why did they have to leave? now i'm all alone with no real family 

Jughead: are you okay?

Betty: umm yeah *gets up

Jughead: really cause you were just crying. Did something bad happen?

Betty: well just with everything, i not having my sister is ruff but i'm totally fine 

Jughead's POV: that's when it all hit me. that's the girl who lost her family. Oh shit, what do i say i mean she is clearly not okay

Betty: hello? 

Jughead: sorry, yeah i wanna join the newspaper

Betty: well no one wants to do it with me so sure 

*bell rings and Betty turns to leave 

Jughead: hey you wouldn't wanna do something?

Betty*turns back around* you wanna do something with me

Jughead: Betty before you say no. It's too late i see you 

Betty's POV: i really didn't wanna say yes. no one deserves to get caught up with my drama and i don't wanna let someone in but he sees me 

Betty: you know what sure

Jughead: how about tonight? Pop's?

Betty: sounds great 

Jughead: awesome its a date 

Betty's POV: suddenly my chest went cold, a date. Why would anyone want a date with me? 

Betty: yeah see you later Jughead

Jughead: see you Betty Cooper 

Jughead's POV: i'm so excited, i can barely contain myself. So excited i find myself looking for Toni and i find her. I tell her everything and she remind me that Betty's still mourning and i can't hurt her. I know that and i know it may be hard for her to open up to me but i sure as hell am gonna give her a chance
