The bright yellow light hits me right in the face when I enter the girls' bathroom on the third floor.

"Shit!" I quietly groan and try to shield my eyes. I'm so hungover, just the slightest bit of light feels like someone's punching me right into the eye.

Dropping all my text books on the sink, I let out a loud sigh. As I look up to the mirror, I'm just a few seconds away from screaming. I look like a ghost that was thrown into the trash and stayed there for about 100 years.

Another big sigh escapes my throat. It quickly turns into a little scream when a female voice speaks up.

"You're alright, girl?"
"Just a bit tired"
I reply breathing heavily and my right hand pressed to my heart.
Holy fuck, I didn't expect that.
10 seconds later the door of the stall behind me opens. A blond girl steps out and looks at me worried.

"Is there anything I can do for you?"
"Uhm, I don't think so but thanks for asking."

I don't even know her. Why is she so nice? We're in Germany, strangers aren't normally nice without a reason.

The girl's voice interrupts my thoughts.
"I'm Hannah", she says and holds out her hand. Kind of taken aback i shake it and just nod.
"Cool, I'm Olivia. So, um, why are you here?"

Wow, that might be the dumbest thing I ever asked.

Mentally face palming I look at her and wait for a response. She looks back at me with a growing smile on her lips.

"Well, I was using the restroom, just like normal people do."
"Didn't expect anything other, sorry for the question" I mumble and turn to the sink.

That wasn't a good idea. After I look into the mirror, I turn back again. I really look like a Range Rover just drove over me.

"So, I don't mean to sound disrespectful but you look kind of...done with the world. Are you sure everything's fine?"

"Oh, that are just the bags under my eyes. But you're right, I don't feel that good actually. I have a hangover, I want to eat at McDonalds and my airpods are gone. Did I already mention I have a hangover and my head aches? It's-"

"Calm down! Olivia, I'm going to help you."
With these words she pulls a bunch of make up stuff out of her bag and places it next to my textbooks.
"Your face problems will be fixed in five minutes."

"You can't fix uglyness, love.", I interrupt her talking and she shoots a glare at me.

"I didn't finish my pep talk yet! Shut up for a second and listen. I have a bottle of water and some aspirin. You're going to take that and then you will rock this day. You are a queen."

"Looking like that?", I ask with my brows furrowed and wave my hand vaguely in front of my body. I can't even recall the last night, so how should I be able to "rock" the current day?

"Oh shut up, you are beautiful! Now brush your hair and put it up."
Slightly shocked about her compliment, I silently take the brush and do as she said.

Five minutes later my face is fixed [as far as the bone structure of a face can be fixed with make up] and my hair is up in a ponytail. My black glasses are cleaned and sit on my nose. I look like a whole new human, not gonna lie.

"Olivia, you look presentable again. Everyone say 'Thank you, Hannah'"
"Thank you, Hannah." I reply with a smile which turns into a big grin after I see her satisfied face.

"Oh, I totally forgot about the water bottle and the aspirin!" Hannah suddenly exclaims.
She hands me both and takes a look at her phone screen.
