What comes to your mind when you hear "reading requests?"

I don't really like it.

It feels awful. I mean we have never spoken or exchanged pleasantries before and the next thing I see is: hey can you please check out my book?

I rely on myself and my friends to recommend books for me to read.

I know my tastes better. If your book is my type I'll find it myself
