Tired of all these cameras flashing, sick of being poised

Niklaus Mikaelson. Everyone has heard of him. Yet everyone forgets Nikole Mikealson, his twin sister. She was the evil twin, not Niklaus. No...he was nothing compared to her.

She met a raven haired boy in the 80's. His attitude was cocky and his demeanour was confident. Nikole has split from her family a long time ago so she was all alone in the big bad world.

The pair got close. She even went back to his home town with him.

She soon left, taking the raven haired boys heart with her. Was she sorry? Yes. For the first time in over 1000 years, Nikole was happy.

Her family knew where she was. They just followed the towns that would suddenly lose all their inhabitants or hospitals that were burnt to the ground in a freak accident. Not one did they try to find her.

Nikole never felt whole without her blue eyed love. She missed him more than she missed her own husband, who she slaughtered the first night she was a vampire but people couldn't know her weakness.

When she heard the news, she went cold. Her siblings couldn't find the murders as their were none. Well none that were her style. That was her plan. Go cold and be a total surprise when she appeared.

She pulled her car up next to the baby blue one and got out. She put on her black elbow length satin gloves and her killer smirk before making her way up the stairs.

She lent an ear on the door lightly as she heard her mother words echo. She had forgiven her pitiful twin brother.

She pushed open the doors and pulled one glove off, finger by finger. Her siblings look on in shock.

"Having a family reunion without me?" She asked innocently, acting hurt.

Her hurt act slipped off her face as she laughed. Niklaus shook his head as Rebecca, Kol, Fin and Ester just stood shocked.

"Leave. I can forgive Niklaus but you? No. You are so far gone not even your father and his belt  could bring you back.

"Well There's no use crying about it" Nikole sassed as she sat down at the table.

"Oh yes Nikole 'There's no use crying about it' I like that attitude!" Niklaus said as he pushed himself up.

A familiar raven haired boy was spotted, eyes wide, in the corner of the room. The smirk fell off of Nikole's face. Damon Salvatore took a step forward.

"Why is he involved in this family's business? We are too tainted for these... these Salvatores" Nikole snapped. Kol tilted his head to the side.
"Hit a sweet spot for the eldest Nikole?"
"A long time ago but that is no matter now"

As per normal, her family broke into arguments. Nikole grabbed the boys by the arms and dragged them out of the house.

"What the bloody hell are you doing here!" She scolded.

"I thought you left" Damon breathed.

"I left because I had to Damon. I missed you. So much and we will talk later but I have to go sort my dysfunctional family" She kisses his cheek.

Damon watched as the love of his life disappeared up the stairs and behind the door but not before she turned back.

"Oh and Stefan!? REMEMBER TO STAY AWAY FROM FADS!"
