Chapter 8

He looks at me like I'm stupid. "You wrecked my Audi R8 and you think I'm letting you drive my baby? I don't think so." He says with a smile so I know he is joking. Well at least I hope he is joking. I would kill to drive this car. He unlocks the doors and I eagerly hop in. I squeal in excitement as he starts the car.

I can't help but touch everything. Most people would get annoyed by my excitement but not Mason. He just laughs at everything I do.

Too soon we pull up at my school. Joy. I see the sluts of the school look at Mason's car and As soon as he parks they head over to it. The jocks of the school drool over his car and also make their way over to us. I slap myself in the forehead and Mason looks at me with concern.

"What's the matter?" He asks.

"Maybe we should have chosen a less conspicuous car. Now when I get out I will have unwanted attention,"I whine.

"These people aren't your friends?"

"Hahahahaha. Please. These people hate me. They treat me like I'm a piece of trash," I sigh."well I guess I will see you later." I give him a small smile before I unbuckle my seat belt. I feel Mason's hand on mine and I look up at him. "Sit right there for a second." I look at him confused before he gets out of the car and heads to my side. What is this boy doing?

Jana, the school slut makes a beeline for Mason and puts her hand on his arm and tries to talk to him. It makes me so mad. I freaking hate her. Who does she think she is? Putting her hands on MY mate?

Mason brushes her hand off of his arm and I had a smug smile on my face. He opens my door and I look up and he is wearing that sexy smirk again. I get out of the car and I hear people gasp all around me. Yeah yeah. I get it. What is this sexy guy doing with a loser like me. They are all staring at me and in want to yell 'take a picture it will last longer.' But I know better and I keep my mouth closed.

Mason smiles down at me when I finally get out of the car and he leans down just like in my freaking dream! He puts one of those large hands on my cheek and the other on my waist. He leans in and presses his lips to mine! I can't freaking believe it! IM KISSING FREAKING MASON CARTER! In front of the popular crowd

His lips were soft but firm and I felt a shiver run through my entire body. He put both hands on my waist to keep me steady or else I would have fallen. My knees went weak. The kiss didn't last long but it was the best moment of my life.

When he finally pulled away I look up and I see Jana glaring at me. Uh oh, this isn't going to end well. I look back at Mason and he tells me to have a good day. He slips something into my back pocket and then he climbs back into his car and drives off.

I watch him as he speeds off and I turn back to the crowd that had assembled. Oh gosh. Please please please let them leave me alone! I duck my head and keep my eyes on the ground as I make my way through the crowd. I hurry to my first class and I make it way before the tardy bell.

I feel a vibration on my butt and realize Mason slipped me my phone. I pull it out and I have one new message.

*have a good day. If anyone bothers you, let me know.

I smile at his text message. Why is he so dang adorable? I quickly reply.

*thanks. Lets hope today goes okay. Please consider the homeschooling*

A few seconds later my phone goes of again, but it's not from mason. It's from Megan.

*umm...care to tell your bestfriend where the hell you've been? And who was that sex god that dropped you off?

I sigh and my phone buzzed again. Well dang. I feel so popular today. I quickly reply to Megan before I read the message from Mason.

*long story. Will talk later.*

I click send and open the message from Mason.

*will call around today. Are you sure you want this. Think about your friends.*

I laugh in my head. Yeah I'll think about my friends became I have so many. Yeah right.

*oh yeah. All two of them*

I hit send just as the bell rings. I put my phone away and get my things out for the day. As i am digging in my backpack I feel someone kick my desk. I look up and...of course. Can my day get any worse. Jana is standing there looking at me as if she wants to kill me. She leans closer and whispers,"if you think you can have mason, then you better think again. He is too good for you and I plan to make him mine. You better watch your back, freak." She sends me one last glare before walking to her desk.

I sign inwardly. This is going to be a long day.

At lunch, Megan takes no time in grilling me about Mason. I quickly fill her in and she is staring at me with wide eyes. Of course i left out the Wolfy part, she doesn't need to think I'm crazy. "I'm so fucking jealous. You get to live with him," is the first thing she says after I finish my story.

"Shhhh!" I try to hush her. "I don't want everyone to know my business. They will probably just think I'm a slut." Our conversation is like this the entire lunch period. Megan kept asking me question about Mason and she had a million.

The final bell rang and I was so happy nothing happened except for my encounter with Jana this morning. As I walked to the parking lot i see Jared and I realize i haven't talked to him since I got back to school. I waved at him and he sent me a glare. Okay..what is stuck up his butt hole? Why is everyone glaring at me today. Jeez.

I spot Mason'a Lamborghini and i quickly head over to it. I hop in and after I buckled my seat belt Mason leans over and gives me another short but sweet kiss. "So..how was your day?" He asks.

Damn. I could get used to this.

Done. Sorry if its short but I'm about to pass out! They finally kissed but trust me, when I'm not dead tired in will make an amazing kissing scene.
