The Rest of that day

Clara walked Freddie to her next class. She got a bunch of stares and stuff but she didn't care.

Biology was the next class. It was also her favorite class and favorite teacher.

Freddie was amazed by his class. The teacher had a saltwater fish tank with clownfish and multiple freshwater tanks.

"My favorite isn't actually a fish tank. It's a baby tortoise in the back named Jimmy Neutron," Clara told him.

She showed him to her seat. It was in the corner, of course. She did talk to the people around her but besides that, she was rather silent.

Everyone kind of stared at Freddie. Some knew who he was and some did not.

"This is our guest for today and the rest of the school year," the teacher said. "He is Freddie Highmore. All of you can fangirl and fanboy later but first, let's talk about sex."

Everyone laughed. The topic was essentially just asexual and sexual reproduction. Also, it was mitosis and meiosis.

Clara took her necessary notes, but mostly doodled the whole time.

This was one of her doodles. (Disclaimer: This is not my picture. It is a Naomi Lord drawing).

"Wow," Freddie thought. "She is really good."

The first bell rang for first lunch. Everyone seemed to stop.

"The second lunch bell rings about ten minutes afterwards," Clara explained.

Freddie saw her take out a book and a bottle.

"Do you want me to leave you alone for lunch?" he asked.

"You don't have to," she began, "but it's up to you. You can meet my annoying excuses for best friends."

Freddie smiled.

"Now," he said. "Would you like to tell me about your life? Since I told you about mine."

"Maybe not on the first day of this," Clara said, "but I will tell you eventually."

"Ok,"

The second bell rang for lunch.

Clara practically ran.

"Oh well," Freddie thought. "She deserves a little bit of time for herself."

He saw her run with a much taller, darker haired boy her age. She was laughing and seemed really happy.

"I think she did mention how she sat outside for lunch," Freddie said to himself. "I'll sit outside myself."

He had to go to his car to get food. Nobody really noticed him. They were either hungry or in conversation.

He sat opposite of where she was sitting, which meant twenty feet away.

She and the tall kid sat down. Then, came a small, scrawny kid with light brown hair. After that, came a semi-tall kid who looked older.

Last, came a kid that looked like a male version of Clara. He obviously got on her nerves, but she looked like she enjoyed it.

The group was acting like idiots. Clara was really enjoying it.

Clara then locked eyes with Freddie.

She mouthed and gestured, "Do you want to come over here?"

"I don't care," he mouthed back.

"I'm coming to get you, then," she mouthed.

"I want to introduce you to someone," she told her friends as she ran to him.

Clara ran to Freddie and helped him to his feet. She pulled him to her friends.

"Guys," she started. "This is Freddie Highmore."

"You mean your celebrity cru-"

"Zach, keep talking and you will once again be smacked with the book I was holding." Clara threatened.

"Anyways," Clara said, "This is Logan, Bailey, Dylan, and Zach."

"Pleasure to meet you," Freddie said.

Zach, being Zach, was the first to start a conversation. He was a Cub Scout who loved the outdoors.

Dylan was a crackhead who always had some kind of thing to say.

Logan was the same way, just more "out there".

Bailey was....Bailey.

Soon, the bell rung for them to go back to class.

"It was nice meeting your friends," the older male told her. "Especially Zach."

"He's an annoying pain in the arse," Clara mumbled.

"Language."

"Sorry," she apologized, blushing. "I've known him since the beginning of the school year but I did see him in kindergarten. I was with him twice."

Mr. Highmore nodded.

"I promise I will tell you about my life," she said. "Just not right now."

After this, the rest of the day went by quickly. It was rather boring in fact. Except for P.E. At least they got to walk and run.

Little to none of Clara's life was revealed. The only thing Freddie knew was that she had two siblings and she liked to read or play guitar.

At last, the end of the day came. The two went their separate ways.

*Hey, my dudes. I hope you enjoy this chapter. Clara's friends are based off of my friends. Especially Zach. He is very much a real person😒. He even has a Youtube channel. Just look up Z.A.H. or ACGTW. You are all amazing people. SIncerely, Jaid.
