Faye's POV

"Hey...Gracie" Faye swallowed as she spoke into her phone, spinning around to look at her new room before sitting on the bed, "how are you doing? I hope you're having fun, we're all fine down here"

She sighed, taking a shakey breath.

"We just bought our first house! I know, it's crazy...Me, Lacey and Lewis- not the original idea but...life never goes to plan" she paused again, breathing slowly trying to stop the tears.

"And I reached two million subscribers!" She laughed, "I remember the party we had when I hit 300k, when you pushed Lewis in the pool, do you remember that?" She laughed some more, thinking of the journey she had made.

For three years now Faye had uploaded to her self titled youtube channel, as the self proclaimed ghost hunting Queen on youtube. She would drag her friends to abandoned locations all for a thirty minutes vlog, however as the time went on more and more people became infatuated with their small tight knit group.

Faye had hit 2 million at 3am, alone in her room-well she liked to believe she was not completely alone- smiling as the screen lit up her face, twisting the last few numbers as people competed to be the 2 millionth subscriber, and Faye couldn't have been happier.

"I think this is a good start on our 'five year plan' list:" she started, pulling out a piece of paper from her pocket, Gracie, Lacey and her own messy signature's scrawled at the bottom, "one; become famous, two; move to La, three;fall in love with Leonardo Dicaprio" Faye giggled at their sixth grade antics, things were so simple back them.

"I reckon Leo's next" she sighed, falling silent as she dropped the paper, gripping the phone tighter.

"I wish you could come and visit soon...we'd all love to talk to you again, I love you" she spoke, a tear dripping down her cheek. She was thankful for the dark night sky.

"...I miss you" the voicemail beep was heard from the phone before she hung up, bringing it to rest against her chin and sobbing quietly.

She hoped that moving to LA would change their lives for the better, however they'd come to realise that not everything in life can be ran from, and that sometimes facing fears can be better.

A loud shout was heard from outside of Faye's bedroom window, causing a groan to come from the girls mouth, she wiped her tears before walking cautiously towards to window, moving the blind to the side to peak out.

In the house next doors back garden she spotted a group of teenage boys; all in shorts and hoodies, brown messy hair on all of their heads and cans of, what she assumed was alcohol, in there hands.

Great, she thought sarcastically, moving all the way to LA just to end up next to a frat house, trust their luck. She continued to look out of the window, studying the boys from afar.

They all stood in a group with their backs to her, a phone and ring light set up was in front of them as they danced and jumped on each other.

Great, not only frat boys but vain frat boys.

However, for some reason Faye couldn't look away, watching the boys laugh and shout, straining her ears to hear them through the glass windows to no avail.

It wasn't random dancing, they all did the same moves like they were a dance group, it was pretty weird to Faye, but for some reason she smiled, just watching them have fun.

They stopped dancing, one of them running towards the phone to see the video. He was tall, had messy yet styled brown hair and glasses rested on his nose, even from there she could notice to smooth look of his tanned skin.

Suddenly, he turned staring straight at Faye, they made quickly eye contact. Her eyes widened as she dropped the blind, falling to the floor and slowly backing away from the window.

Well that wasn't suspicious at all.
