The word vomit. The tears. They were all coming out.

"Oh and don't even get me started on how she treated me back at our apartment...! She started talking shit about me and said that I wasn't allowed to call you 'Shou' anymore and she called me 'pathetic' because-"

I couldn't tell him she called me 'pathetic' because I couldn't woman up and tell Shou how I felt about him.

"Because what?"

"Because... because nothing. It's not important." I said, averting his gaze.

"Wait... why aren't you allowed to call me 'Shou'?"

"Because she said something about you two becoming a couple and how inappropriate it would be for me, someone who's not your girlfriend, to call you by a nickname..."

"Then I'll talk to her about it. That's just stupid. You know you can call me whatever you like." said Shou as he gave me a warm smile. "Besides... you're the only one who can call me 'Shou'."

He then pulled the restraints of his capture gear off of me and pulled me in for a hug. I could feel my heart pounding.

"For real?" I asked, pulling back to look him in the eyes.

"For forever, idiot." snickered Shou as he kissed my forehead lightly.

"What was that for?"

"Nothing in particular... Just wanted to do that." said Shou, a light pink dusting his cheeks. He looked really cute while blushing.

"So... how'd the date go anyway?"

"It was super fancy and boring. All she could talk about was how 'charming' and 'handsome' I was and how we would be the perfect couple or whatever... To be honest, they just kinda felt like empty words and shit... I kinda felt uncomfortable the entire time. Needless to say, that's my first and LAST date with her. Although, the food was good." explained Shou as he rubbed his neck.

"Wow... Can't believe you were excited for that." I teased, elbowing the Erasure hero.

"Don't remind me..." groaned Shou as he hid his face in his capture gear. "But, I will admit... I wouldn't mind if I were to go on a date with you sometime."

"WHAT." I yelled.

"You know... I know you well so I wouldn't have to fake anything or whatever with you. It wouldn't feel uncomfortable with you."

I didn't know what to say. The guy I've been in love with for the past 20+ years just told me that he wouldn't mind going on a date with me.

"Well... if there's nothing interesting happening, wanna head home?" asked Shou as he turned around.
