"I really hope Shou sees you for the real you."

"Look, Shouta and I ARE going to go on a date, he IS gonna fall in love with me, and we ARE going to become a couple." said Asmo threateningly, gripping my tank top harshly. "Got it?"

Her golden eyes looked a lot more menacing up-close like this.

"Whatever." was all I said before pushing her off of me.

Just then, Shou came out of his room dressed in a black dress shirt and tie with black jeans. His hair was so neatly put into a half-up-half-down hairstyle. He was wearing only one color, but he always managed to look amazing. ... and the fact that he's dressed up like this is for Asmo and not me... it made me feel extremely jealous. But, nonetheless, I was somewhat happy for him.

"Wow, Shouta! You look so handsome! I can't believe I'm going on a date with a hunk like you!" giggled Asmo, going back to her happy-go-lucky persona.

I couldn't believe the duality of this woman. AND WASN'T SHE LIKE 20?! HE'S OVER 10 YEARS OLDER THAN HER-

"Oh please... I'm nothing compared to you. Let's just go before it's too late. I have to go on patrol with (Y/n) later." said Shou with a monotone voice.

"Right..." said Asmo before she grabbed her purse and wrapped her arms around Shou's.

It was midnight, and Shou hadn't come back yet. Well, I wasn't gonna wait for him to come back home- I had a duty to fulfill as a hero. I got into my hero costume again and left the apartment.

Besides, he's probably just coming late. He wouldn't skip out on patrol just for some chick... would he?

Three hours and twenty one minutes. That's how long I was on patrol for. Alone. It wasn't until then when I saw a blur of black and gray jumping towards me.

"(Y/N)!" yelled Shou from afar. "Wait up!"

I didn't feel like talking to him at the moment. He actually skipped patrol for some girl. I decided to swing further away from him. Like, another building further away from him.

"(Y/n)! Stop swinging away from me! I wanna talk to you!" exclaimed Shou as he jumped closer to me.

I was getting ready to swing again, but Shou then used his quirk on me. God fucking dammit.

"(Y/n)! Why are you... avoiding me?" asked Shou as he tried to catch his breath from chasing me.

I stayed silent and just started walking away from him. He then used his capture gear to keep me from running away again.

"Is it because I'm late? Look, I'm sorry. I just lost track of time and-"

"I DON'T CARE THAT YOU WERE LATE. I CARE ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU WERE LATE BECAUSE OF HER." I yelled, fighting back tears.

"Are you referring to Asmo?" Shou asked back, his voice sounding a bit worn out.

"Yes, I'm referring to Asmo! It hasn't even been 24 hours since you met her, and I feel like I don't even know you anymore!"
