"Just (Y/n) is fine."

"Of course, (Y/n)." smiled Asmo as she slid the door closed behind her.

"Did you wanna ask me something?" asked Shou as he ate some mackerel.

"Well, I was hoping I could ask you in private... But I didn't know that (Y/n) would be here too..." chuckled Asmo nervously.

"Oh, uh, I could leave the room if you want. I think I forgot my water in the faculty room anyway." I said as I started to get up.

"Could you?" asked Asmo innocently, her hands clasped together in a sort of pleading way.

I nodded and then left the room.

I don't know what it was about her, but I just felt uneasy around her. She said she was quirkless and was only here for a school project back at her university... but I just couldn't fully believe that. She's too perfect. She can't be pretty, smart, tall, and be quirkless? Maybe her quirk was something that wasn't like a quirk, like being able to replace light bulbs quicker than the average person or being able to change her eye color. I was thinking too much about it...

As I was walking back to the 1-A classroom, I saw Asmo walking out and coming towards me.

"Thank you for suggesting that I ask out Shouta, (Y/n). If it weren't for you, I would still be alone tonight." giggled Asmo as she continued walking down the hallway.

My eyes went wide as I registered what she had told me. I dropped my water bottle on the floor and bolted towards the classroom.

"SHOU, WHAT HAPPENED?!" I exclaimed, running up towards the taller man.

"Nothing. She just asked me out on a date, and I said 'yes'." explained Shou nonchalantly.

"Didn't you just tell me a couple hours ago that you were too busy for dating?!" I asked, lightly shaking my best friend.

"I did? Well, I guess I changed my mind. Besides, it's just one harmless date."

"I guess so... Will you be back before we have to go on duty?"

"Probably."

"That's concerning." I said as I fell back onto my ass and onto the floor.

After packing up for the day, I walked back to Classroom 1-A to see if Shou was ready to leave. I knocked on the sliding door before entering. There, on the floor, was Shou sleeping in his yellow sleeping bag.

I shook him awake as I said, "Hey, Shou, it's time to go. Wake up."

"Huh? Oh, right. Don't wanna be late for my date with Nakamura."

Ugh, it's only been like four hours but that's all he's been talking about since. It seems that the only time he shut up about her was when he was sleeping. Maybe I could knock him out and then just drag him home. Nah... that would seem too suspicious.

"Right, right... Your date with what's-her-face... Let's just go home."

After reaching our apartment in Heights Alliance, I threw my bag on my bed and changed out of my hero costume. I came out of my room dressed in a (f/c) tank top, (s/f/c) cardigan sweater, and black sweatpants.
