"I'm not in love or in anything with you! You're crazy if you think that!" exclaimed Shou as he used his capture gear to tie Asmo down. "Now (Y/n)!"

I nodded and then used my webs to stick Asmo onto the wall. Shou then let go of her restraints.

"THEN WHO ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH?"

"That's none of your concern." said Shou. "Look, I'm sure there's someone out there who will like you for you... whoever that might be. I'm just not that person. You have to realize that you can't force someone to like you; whether it be a friend or love interest."

Asmo's eyes then returned to their normal golden state; her quirk deactivating altogether.

"You can let me down now... I promise I'm not gonna try anything." said Asmo.

I then took the webs down, releasing her from the wall. She landed on her feet safely afterwards.

"Goodbye." she said, leaving the faculty room.

"Well... that was something..." I said, rubbing the nape of my neck.

"Yeah... something..." repeated Shou quietly.

After everything that went down in the past two days, just taking a breather and relaxing on the couch was just what we needed. Shou was in my lap, laying down on the couch with me.

"So... that entire time when you seem infatuated with her... that was her quirk?" I asked, playing with Shou's hair.

"I guess so. It must be similar to Nemuri's... to an extent, anyway." replied Shou. "I mean, her fucking name was 'Asmo'. I should've seen something like this coming."

"Yeah... Asmo is short for Asmodeus..." I mumbled to myself as I stroked his messy hair. "Hey, so... I don't know if this is the right time to ask you, but who do you like? 'Cause earlier you were trying to say something, but Asmo kept cutting you off..."

"Huh? Oh... Um... You don't wanna know... It's nothing..."

"Shou..."

"What?" he said, looking up at me.

"Please?" I said, giving him the puppy face and eyes.

"Ugh fine... Just promise me you won't freak out or whatever."

"I'll try."

"I like you..." said Shou, his face turning a light pink once again.

I froze up and shut down.

"(Y/n)?"

"I- You- We- You- Like- HUH."

"See? This is why I didn't wanna tell you. I knew you were gonna go all... well, this one me." mumbled Shou to himself as he pulled me towards him.

Now he was on top of me on the couch, my arms pinned above me with one of his hands on both of my wrists.

"You're such an idiot..."

"Huh?"

"By the way, you're really bad at hiding your feelings..."

"HUH?! WAIT. DOES THIS MEAN YOU-"

"I've known since we were in high school ourselves, (Y/n)."

"AND YOU NEVER BOTHERED TO TELL ME?!"

"Are you gonna keep yelling at me or are we gonna kiss?" asked Shou as he cocked an eyebrow.

"... the second one."

"As you wish,"

And just like that, Shou and I shared our first kiss. The first of many to come.

Epilogue

"Hey Zashi...!" I said, catching up to the blond.

"Yo (Y/n)! What's up?" Zashi said as he stopped walking.

"I didn't know which drink you preferred... so I got... all of them." I said, showing him the inside of my bag.

"Holy... (Y/n) you didn't have to...!" he said as he hugged me.

"Well I mean, thanks to that stupid bet, Shou and I are kinda together now."

"Wha?"

"(Y/n). Quit messing around. Let's get to work already. Mic has students to teach. Give him the bag and let's go." said Shou as he caught up with us.

"Okay- just... here, take this shopping bag. It had all the drinks. Bye Zashi...!" I said, handing him a bag of coffee cans and sodas.
