I looked over towards karma and saw her laughing with her sister. I looked back at the niggas sitting across from me. I felt a nudge on my side. It was my homeboy Marcus.

"Man, you sure about this. Like I been knowing her for a minute. She ain't gonna be cool with this shit man."

I brushed him off.

"Man look I got this, OK? Don't trip."

I cleared my throat once I approached their table. Karma was the first to look up, she had this look in her eye like she was happy to see me.

"Hey ladies, how y'all doing?" I asked as I eyed karma.

"Hey Cole." they answered simultaneously

"Karma may I speak with you for a minute?"

Karmen rose from her seat, while grabbing her item.

"Well, I'll just leave you two to talk."

She quickly smiled at me and walked away.

"Hold up Karmen, I'll walk with....."

"I walk by myself Marcus!"

I chuckled under my breath as my nigga got curved and still ran behind her.

"So wassup?"

I looked at Karma and saw her playing in her hair. I sat down across from her and got comfortable.

"So, I came over here to be honest with you." I paused as I saw her face scrunch up. I began to rub the back of my head.

"You know what, this isn't the best place to tell you." I looked up at her and saw her worried.

"Well my last class ends at 12:15. I'll be waiting here. We can meet up then" She grabbed her things and got up and left. I sat there deep in thought about how I was going to tell her this.

"So did you tell her?" Marcus asked coming up behind me.

"Nah man, I'll tell her after school."

I looked down at my phone and saw I had 5 minutes to get to class. I grabbed my book bag and made my way to the business building.

12:15

I walked out of my last class, and made my way to the Student center. I saw her sitting by herself with her headphones in. I grabbed a pizza slice, some chicken wings and fries and a soda and sat down across from her. She looked up and took her headphones out.

"Damn nigga are you that hungry?" she asked. I looked down at my tray, it wasn't even that much, a piece of pizza, 6 chicken wings, some fries, and a sprite.

"You want some?" I pushed my tray towards her, she shook her head and pushed it back.

"You sure?" I asked while pushing the tray back towards her.

"Yes Cole, I'm fine." I shrugged my shoulders and pulled the tray back. I began to eat.

"So what did you want to tell me this morning?" she asked nervously. I popped a few fries in my mouth, before wiping my hands on a napkin.

"Well, you know they guys that I hang with, besides Marcus?"

"Yeah, Dre, Quan and, Raheem." I leaned back in my seat as I prepared myself for what I was about to tell her. I didn't know how she was going to react, and I'll be damned if she swing on me.

"Yeah, well this morning before I came over to talk to you, they made a bet with me." I paused and waited for her reaction.

"They made a bet that in a month I couldn't get you to have sex with me, but I didn't want to do that to you, you know?" I rubbed my neck out of nervousness.

"How much did they bet you?" she asked. I looked at her surprised.

"500 dollars, why what's up?"

"Accept the bet, then come over later." She wrote her address down on a piece of paper, and grabbed her things and left. I sat there and finished my food.

"So what happened man?" Marcus sat across from me.

"She told me to accept the bet and to come over later." I shrugged my shoulders and drunk the rest of my soda.

"Well maybe she has her own plan man." Marcus commented

"Wassup marcus, Wassup Pussy." Dre and them came up to the table.

"So are you going to accept this bet, or what nigga?" I looked over at Marcus and he gave me a slight head nod.

"Alright niggas, I'll accept it, but have my 500 ready WHEN I win." I threw away my trash and made my way to my car.

Fuck them niggas. I just wonder what Karma got planned.

*At Home*

"So he told you that they made a bet?" Karmen asked. I had finished telling her what Cole told me today in the student center. I shook my head yes as I paced around the living room.

"So what do you have planned? Are you sure he's telling the truth? I mean what if he's just saying that to have sex with you?" I stopped pacing and stared at her. She was right, what if he was just saying that.

"I don't know, that's a good point. He's supposed to come over later, we'll see then."

Hi guys, sorry I've been gone so long. A lot of stuff has been happening. And I had to put this on hold. Ive been writing this chapter for some time now, tell me what you think.
