He stood up and turned off the TV and he went up to his room.

Day 12

Demilade left earlier than usual to work. Lola wakes up to cook breakfast for his mother. She had always wanted to do it for a mother. And since she was there, she did it for her.

The woman was so pleased and excited to see her bring breakfast to her room.

"You didn't have to do this Lola." She said smiling broadly.

"It's okay ma. It's good if you have your breakfast early." She said sincerely.

"I'm very grateful for your concern Tiwalola." She appreciated. "Let me go and brush my teeth first."

"Okay, ma. I will go back to the kitchen to package the food for others." She said and the woman nodded.

She left the woman to package other's food and then take care of her room. She takes out the clothes she needs to wash because Mayowa will be coming later that day to wash Demilade clothes.

When she returned, she had just finished eating and was about to take her plates to the kitchen. But she took it from her and take it to the kitchen before returning to her room.

"Demilade had gone to work right?" She asked.

"Yes, ma." She responded.

"He loves his work so much. Did he ever tells you why he doesn't eat breakfast?" She asked.

"Demilade rarely talks about himself. I just find out things on my own and he just confirms it. So he didn't tell me." Lola lied.

The woman doesn't have to know she doesn't know anything about her son. And she was curious to know a little about the billionaire.

"You are right about that. Demilade can be so secretive. The only person he sometimes opens up to is his grandfather before his death." And She told her everything. Their story. How they couldn't afford food in the morning and he had to go to school without eating until lunch when he eats at school. Sometimes his friend Bayo helped him buy lunch at school. Later he had to help them hawk early in the morning before going to school so he could see some little changes to take to school. And he won't be able to eat breakfast before going to school. When her mother gets a better job to help them with, he prefers to save the money because he taught it might come in handy when they need it. So he got used to not eating breakfast.

Any time he forced himself to, he either puked or had stomach problems all through the day. So he doesn't eat breakfast.

"Oh! I never know about it. He just never talks." Lola said.

It was still amazing to hear that Demilade wasn't born rich. His family were extremely poor when he was a kid that they barely had what to eat. But now he is a Billionaire.

"He is also allergic to peanut butter and crayfish. He never likes them." She said, smiling. Lola smile back at the woman. She wished she could tell her that she knows nothing about her son other than he is a Billionaire who doesn't have a girlfriend and has a big house. And is also a jerk and also very mean to people he doesn't like.

"He doesn't like green beans too. He is not allergic to it but he doesn't like it. He also doesn't like catfish. He drinks pap but hates custard. He doesn't drink custard."

"But why ma? There isn't much difference between them." Lola said in amazement.

"I know. I also don't know why. Sometimes, It makes me mad too." She said chuckling.
