𝟑𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥

~~ 13. ~~

           At the party, they all sat in the loud noise in the small hall where the after-party was going on. Some ladies were busy gawking at Lola and Demilade.

"Your gown is beautiful." A lady whose hand is tangled with a very tall guy said to her.

"Thank you." She appreciated it with a smile.

"Yeah. You look gorgeous in them." Another said.

"I can't seem to take my eyes off them since you walk in." Another lady said. She was the bride of honour of the bride.

           Lola blushed. Most of the ladies complimenting her dress were older than her. Only three or four of the ladies are about the same age as her.

"You should take off that jacket. You don't need to hide the beautiful clothes and your body." A guy said and Demilade look his way but he said nothing.

"I'm okay this way." She said.

"Don't be boring. Or did Demmy ask you to hide your body? You've got a great body. Don't hide them." Another said as he rake her body with his eyes. He was sitting with the lady that has long lashes and nails. But his eyes still hold some glint behind them.

"She can do whatever I want not yours Kachi," Demilade said glaring at him.

         He smiled and he bowed slightly in apology.

"Your shoes are also nice. Where do you buy them?" Another lady with long lashes and packing gel asked. Her voice was very thin.

             Lola looked at her shoes. She didn't believe someone will like it. Timi had been the one who picked the shoe. It was nude at the top. The front had a little wedge while the back heel was a dollar sign as the heel.

           She thanked her and she told them where she bought it.

"When her boyfriend is a billionaire, you should expect the best." One of the guys said. He had a smirk on his face. She had heard he is a prince. And the groom was his cousin. He had two women beside him in short exposing clothes.

          Demilade chuckled. "You are crazy Jide."

           And they all laughed.

          And they went back to the loud batters of music, singing, talking and laughing. Bayo sat alone with his drink making jokes. He was the livest person in the room together with the bride. Lola could see she was very jovial. Her husband was the quiet type. He is just like Demilade that doesn't say much.

             Some ladies and other guys came in later. Most of the girls were slut, side chicks for the guys. Lola even overhead that two of the guys with the women have wives and children.

           A lady in a yellow long flare gown went to sit with Bayo. But he made sure she didn't touch him. He kind of snubbed her and the act made Lola respect the guy more. He wasn't with his wife but he still respects her. He didn't act like the rest of the guys.

           A lady in a too-tight short gown with a small slit at both sides walked in. She was in expensive human hair and she had this brown colour lens in her eyes. Her makeup was full and she looked like a barbie. She got everyone's attention as she walks in. And she smiled like that was what she wanted.

             Attention.

           She said hi to some of the men and ladies and she went over to the bride and groom and she said her compliment before kissing the wife on the cheek. They also seem to be close. And she went to take a seat beside the guy that was eye-raking Lola earlier who was directly opposite her and Demilade.

           They continued talking like they were before she came in. And they keep on laughing, drinking and eating. Some stood up and begins to dance.

  

              It was quite fun for Lola to watch them and listen to them. But she noticed Demilade was already bored. He just stares ahead with one glass of whiskey in his hand. He barely talks.

"Demmy you are quiet. Cheer up, dude. This isn't a board meeting." One of the guys teases.

          He just chuckled without saying anything.

"You are not even touching your girl. Are you two fighting?" Another asked.

"Maybe he is shy." A girl said. She was using her hand to caress her boyfriend.

"Maybe." He said and he shrugged.

"Come on touch her. Aren't you getting horny seeing us do this?" One of the ladies asked Lola. She licked her lips and rub her hands on her boyfriend's thigh and to the middle of his thigh.

          The other ladies laughed.

"I don't need all that to get horny. He got his way." Lola said with a smile. She places her hand on Demilade's. He looked at her but he said nothing.

"Common don't fool us." Another guy said. "We know Demmy can be boring and not romantic. There are a lot of times he shunned and disgraced ladies. It's a surprise he brought you here. It's been  long."

"He's romantic if you know him. Although he can be quite shy." Lola said and she looked at him.

           The girl that had come in earlier named Golden rolled her eyes.

"He's probably a gay trying to decisive us." She muttered.
