"Of course dear. I have not gotten used to staying at home. So everywhere seems quite boring." He replied.
"Sorry daddy that I am not here to keep you company."
He waved it off. "Common what do you mean by that? I'm fine. You won't be at home forever. You will get married someday."
"Ah, Daddy. Which one is the marriage talk?" She said chuckling.
He didn't give her a reply but just shrugged. "So how is your stay with Mr Demilade? Hope he is treating you well?"
"Yes. I eat anything I want. I don't have to do any work. But I'm helping his maid with some house chores I just can't sit around watching. You didn't teach me to be that way. But it looks like he doesn't like it. But I am fine. There is even free Wi-Fi in the house. I can browse freely. Even his TV is connected to the WiFi and I can watch free movies on Netflix, Fox, CW....any station dad. It's so surprising. Money is really really good. "
"Yes, my dear. Olorun ko ni je kowo wan wa (May God not make us lack). But I am glad you are okay. Do you let him know you will be coming?"
"Of course daddy. Don't you trust me?" She asked.
"I trust you very much, Lola. But it is him that I doubt. You know those rich men. You can hardly tell what is in their mind. And I don't want you to get on his wrong side. Be careful Lola." He advised.
"I will be fine daddy." She answered.
And they heard footsteps coming close to the door. Lola smiled. Her siblings were home. She will get to see them.

Demilade didn't feel in the mood to go clubbing with his workers, so he asked them to go ahead. The treat was on him. He sat in his office going through their new project. He wants to establish a branch of his company in Japan and he is looking at the names of Japanese investors.
Then Uche came in. He can see that she was exhausted.
"What are you still doing in the office?" He asked her.
"You are still here." She answered and she smiled. She dropped a flash drive on his table. "Here is what you requested. I have copied all the documents you want inside."
"Okay. Thanks." He said taking the flash from the table. He looked at it and he put it down in front of him. "You can go home now Uche."
"Okay. Thank you sir. " She said. "Mr Omotosho called."
"And what did Fareed want to say?" He asked exasperatedly.
"He asked if you are still coming to the club. If you've changed your mind?" She said. "But I told him no."
"Thank you. I don't know why those two won't let me be. Don't worry Uche you can go home or to the club. I will see you on Monday." He said.
"Alright, sir. Good night." She said and left.
After she left, he put the file and the flash drive into his bag and he took his tablet and phone to leave the office.

There was something different about the house when he got home. But he doesn't know what. When he sat in the dining chair to eat, he asked Deborah where Lola was.
"Where is Lola?" He asked.
"She is not yet back."
"From where? Who the hell asked her to leave the house?" He asked angrily.
The lady moved back slowly. She hates Demilade angry side and she always does her best to avoid it. But it looks like her boss gets angrier recently. And that is because of his fake girlfriend.
"I don't know. She left around to twelve this morning." She said.
Demilade groaned. "Make tea for me and clear the table. Bring some chinchin too."
"Sir, aren't you eating?" She asked.
"I lost my appetite. Clear the table." He commanded and he get up angrily and walked to his living room.
The second living room is his private living room. Although others are allowed there he doesn't entertain visitors in there. The living room is decorated in his two best colours - black and white.
He took his phone and began to read something on it while he waits for Lola to return. Deborah brought the tea and chinchin he requested and left.
After reading for an hour, he scratches his eyes and he looked at the time on the phone, it was ten zero one. He was about to call Deborah when he saw Lola climbing up the stairs.
He stood up and quickly went to stop her.
"And where the hell do you go to?" He huffed.
She slowly turned around. She was surprised to see him. She thought Debbie said he comes back late on Fridays.
"I went to see my family."
"Your family? And did you tell me?" He asked.
"Of course I did. I told you last night."
"And when was that? Did I tell you that you can go? And look at the time. Look at when you are coming back home."
"There was traffic and I couldn't get a cab at the gate. I had to trek inside." She said.
"Trek? Well, that is not my problem. What matters is I never told you to leave the house. How am I even sure you went to see your family?" Demilade asked.
"Excuse me." She said. She was getting angry. "And what are you trying to imply? That I went to see someone else? I don't know why you are acting all up but let me tell you this. I don't lie." She said.
He scoffed like he didn't believe her. He climbed up the stairs.
"It's not like there is a damn thing to do in this boring house." She said as she watched him climb up the stairs case toward her.
"Last I remember, it's better than yours." He said angrily and it hit a nerve. The words hurt but she said nothing. He continued. "And staying in this boring house for thirty days is part of the deal. So deal with it. Stop pissing me off Lola. I hate it." He said to her face and he walked away.
Demilade walked away angrily. He doesn't want Lola to tarnish his image. A few people had known her because of him. And they know her through him. And he doesn't want them to see the real her so it won't affect his reputation.
At least for the time that the deal is on. When the deal is over, she can do as she, pleases.
Lola heaved a heavy sigh and sat on the stairs dropping her bag beside her.
What the hell had she put herself into?
Demilade is a nutcase. She had never had to deal with someone like him. He gets angry at every little thing she does. If he hates her so much, why make the deal with her? She asked herself over and over again.
After a while, she quietly stand up and walked to her room.
Character! What is Demilade problem sef?
The guy is a real nut case. But like Debbie said he is not bad when you know him. Let's see if it is true. Stay tuned.
