            After finishing her work and eating breakfast, she went to take her bath and dressed in a long flower gown. She was going to see her family. She had missed them. The twins had begged her on the phone the previous night to come to see them and that she buy snacks for them when coming.

           She wants to see all of them and today was the best time when they will return from school early and Demilade will not be back until later in the night.

            She told Debbie she was going out and didn't know when she will be returning. And she left the house.

             She met her friend Ada in the compound washing clothes. She is mostly at home due to the strike going on in her school. She had been at home since.

"Oh, my God! Look who is here. " She said standing up. She quickly washes her hands with water and rubs them on her shorts to dry them. "Tiwalola."

"Hi, Adaugo." She greeted her friend. And she embraces her.

"My dear you don dey fat oh. Mr Billionaire they treat you well." She said in pidgin.

"Will you shut Ada?" She said looking around.

"You know say most people no dey house now. Na only our Mrs know all wey dey house upstairs (You know that almost everyone is not at home. It is only Mrs Know that is upstairs in her apartment)." She said and they both laughed. "So this one wey we see you. Hope everything okay?"

"Yes, everything is fine. I won kon see my popsy and siblings. I don miss them. (I want to come and see my dad and siblings. I miss them). I miss you and IB too."

"Hey look at you. I miss you too dear. I get this cloth I won sow for my little sister, shey you go get chance? (I have a cloth that I want you to sow for my little sister. Will you be able to sow it?)" She asked.

"I don't know yet. I will see what I can do." Lola answered.

"Please oh. My momsy like the cloth wey you sow for her last month. (My mommy liked the clothes you sow for her last month)."

"I will see if I can make it because my machine is here at home." She told her and Ada grimaced. "Look Ada, my dad is waiting for me. I will check on you later. You are at home right?"

"Yes na. Where will I go to?" She said with a smile. "Alright go now."

"Okay," Lola said and she walk away into the building to their apartment.

            Her dad was watching the afternoon news when she walked into the house. He looked up and a broad smile spread on his face at the sight of his daughter.

"Oluwadamilola mi. " He said. He mostly calls her Damilola if he is very excited.

"Daddy good afternoon." She greeted on her knees.

           He pulled her up and embrace her. "Good afternoon. How are you? I miss my beautiful daughter."

"I miss you too daddy. That's why I came today." She said and she took a seat beside her father.

"Daniel is not back from school yet?" She asked looking at the time. It was twenty pm. The school should have been closed and they should be back by now.

"They will be here soon. You know Daniel will still wait to talk with his friends before going to pick up the twins." Her father said.

          Lola shrugged and said. "You are right. So daddy how are you? Have you eaten?"
