Not like he loves to waste any more of his time either.

"Sir I called to tell you that you won't be working for me for a month."

"What? Mr Demilade please don't do this to me. Please sir don't sack me." He begged.

He knows his daughter will be making dream money at the end of the deal she is having with him but he still needs the job. The money that she will be receiving at the end of the deal had had things that had been planned to do.

"Mr Bamidele, I'm not sacking you. Let's just assume it is leave. You will be taking a leave for a month. I can't let you be my driver when your daughter is...... acting as my girlfriend. My mother will tell the resemblance when she sees both of you. So it's just for a month that the deal will be on. "

"Are you sure sir?"

"Definitely." He answered. "And also, I will pay your salary to the fullest at the end of the month. Is that okay sir?"

"But sir... I won't be working. It isn't right." The man said.

"It won't change my agreement with your daughter. And you and her are doing a different job for me. And I will pay for it. I know if not for her, you will be at work now, so let's just assume you are at work. I will pay your salary for this month."

"Thank you sir. Thank you very much I am grateful."

"It's nothing." He said nonchalantly.

The man nodded and he stood up. "Here is the key to the car you gave me to bring to work."

The man dropped the key to the Toyota Sienna that he gave to him to drive himself to work so he won't have to worry about transport fare.

"I don't need it sir. You can take it. It is yours."

"What? But sir?"

"Mr Bamidele. I'm serious. You can take it. You know I have more than that, what do you think I need a sienna for?" He said. He was already getting bored with the conversations.

"But sir, you've done more than enough for me." The man said. He was on the brink of tearing up.

Demilade groaned inwardly but he answered anyway. "Just thank God for it, sir. I want to go back to work." And he gave him his business smile.

Mr Bamidele nodded and thanked him again before walking out of the office. Demilade sighed when he was out. It was very awkward for him. It was the longest conversation he had ever had with Mr Bamidele, his driver.

Later during the day at lunch, two men in suits walked into Demilade's office and he said something on the phone before hanging up.

"Demmy. Demmy. Chief Executive officer of Demmy Empire. Demmy Hotel & Suite." The shortest among the two said and the other laughed.

They both took a seat opposite Demilade.

"What do you guys want? I'm busy."

"No, bring that one here oh Demmy. We are going for lunch." The second one said.

"Look, Adam, I no get time for all this una lunch stuff. Both of you fit to go, I will give you extra minutes if you want." He said to them and he pick up a file that he had to sign.

The first one snatched it from him and Demilade glared at him.

"Fareed my file." He said to the first one.

Fareed and Adam were his closest friends aside from Bayo. They both work for him. They finished at the same university and when he bought the company he invited them over. Fareed had a share in the company since he is one of their investors and he is the chief accountant of the company.

"Demilade let's go eat. Man can not do without food."

"Today is Monday. We will go tomorrow."

"Not today. We are going today. Uche can handle the work here till you get back." Adam said.

"I can't leave her to do all the work. Dayo is not here. He is on leave. And I have a lot of documents to sign." He explained to them.

"She can go with us then. The office will be fine Demmy. You have thousands of workers. What could go wrong in just an hour." Fareed said.

"And I know you've not eaten this morning? You won kill yourself. Abeg let's go." Adam said.

"You know nothing more than food. " Demilade said to Adam. He grinned. "But we aren't taking more than an hour."

"Fine. It's okay." They both agreed.

"And..."

"And what again Demilade?" They said rolling their eyes.

"I am not going to a restaurant that had those... slut."

He saw the two of them smile mischievously. And he groaned. He doesn't know why they can't think of anything than what is in front and back of a woman.

"Do you agree or not?"

"What will be the fun in it Demilade?" Fareed asked. "Those ladies are the main thing."

"You both can go on your own." He said and he picked up another file.

"Fine fine."

"You win. Let's go sha. God no whether you be gay." Adam complained.

"Yes oh. If no be for Angela, I would have thought the same thing." Fareed said.

"I'm here you know?" Demilade said standing up.

They chuckled. And they all walked out of the office.

"Demilade that girl dey eye you na," Adam said to Demilade who was busy with his food.

They had noticed a lady in a full wig and heavy make-up sitting some distance from them. She had come to say hi to them before going to her table. She was mostly focused on Demilade and her eyes won't leave him since she step into the restaurant.

"It's true oh Demmy. The lady is gorgeous."

"You don't know the definition of gorgeous," Demilade said without expression.

"What?" They said.

"Who told you she is pretty? Make-up is the magic on her. She is cheap." Demilade commented with a sneer.

"Demilade, you and your bad mouth. Is it all lady that you always have something bad to say about them?

"You have never given a lady a good compliment. You be gay?" Fareed said.

"No, I have a girlfriend." He said and all eyes went to him.

"Seriously."

"Are you kidding us?"

"Which day did you get a girlfriend? You don't have to lie to us." Fareed said quite, exasperated.

"Her name is Lola. She is prettier than all those cheap ladies."

"Whoa whoa!" They both exclaimed.

"Demilade praises a woman. And who is the lucky lady?" Fareed asked shocked.

"Why won't I praise her? She is my girlfriend." Demilade said.

And they began to throw questions. And he answered a few and ignore others.

"I'm having dinner with my sister on Wednesday and she asked me to invite you guys. Bayo and his wife would be attending. So you guys have to come. And you, Demmy bring your beautiful girlfriend."

"Okay," Demilade said.

He will use this opportunity to push his friends off his back about his relationship life. Just as he plans to use Lola to get his mother off his back, he will do the same with his friends.
