As soon as those words slipped from her mouth, I abruptly turned my head, which was facing Natasha and the door, to face my reflection attempting to level my breathing and search for any flaws visible on my face. Why was he here? He wasn't supposed to see me till we agree to marry each other. Oh No, I was not prepared for this.

"H, shall I let him in?" She asked, as I stared at her face with confusion.

"I don't know, why is he here?" I spoke in a hurry, as if someone were chasing me down the road, and I was zooming down the road with my big, puffy dress on.

Before I could think about anything else, I heard the creak of the door, as it was pushed with force by none other than him. He barged into the room, giving a murderous stare towards Nash, as she stared at him back, mirroring his stare.

I attempted to hold my giggle in, at Nash and her 'I know I'm small, but I'm strong' look. I failed. I let my giggle slip, which resulted in him directing his stare towards me, whilst his hazelnut eyes softened, just the slightest bit, almost as if he didn't want to show it. I stared back with intensity in my eyes, as we stayed like that for a few moments.

"Well, I know when I'm not wanted." Nash spoke, in attempt to break our intense eye contact. Before we turned towards her, we gave each other a final look and averted our eyes at the same time. She walked out of the room, as quietly as she could, closing the door behind her, leaving me and him alone. Oh No, he's gonna kill me!

"Hello, I'm Aiden Mirza, you must be Hayat Aslani? He finally broke the silence.

"Hi, and yes that's me." I finally plucked up the courage to respond.

"Listen, I am going to be very straightforward and honest with you, I don't know you and don't intend on getting to know you. This is merely for the sake of my parent's and you must have your own reasons. Don't confuse this arranged marriage with any love, romance or any of that, cause I promise you; you won't find it with me." He spoke with such confidence and pride, I almost felt sick.

How dare he come here, to meet me, and give me all this shit? I wouldn't even dream of touching him and he's come here, in front of my face to say not to fall in love. This guy! Hayat, stay calm, it's fine you'll hardly have to see him.

"Listen here, Adam was it? I want nothing to do with you, as much as you want with me. So, don't come in here giving this whole ass speech, sounding all proud, because some bimbo boosted your confidence, but darling not me. I don't care about you. I want nothing to do with you. I hope that in this 'fake marriage' we hardly see each other." I let out, as he stared at me shocked that I just spoke to him in that tone.

"Amazing, glad we agree on something. EXCEPT the bimbo part." He replied in an overly bored tone. "But listen to me Angel, don't ever speak to me like that again. It won't end nicely." He finished off in an extremely harsh tone.

I merely rolled my eyes and continued to place my hair properly, ignoring his existence. He walked over to where I was sat, in front of the vanity, and placed a small velvet box on top.

"My mom gave it." He spoke very bluntly and strode out of the room, with rather large steps.

'My mom gave it.' I mimicked whilst making a face as soon as he shut the door. MAN, HE'S JUST UGH!

Okay, I know I am being wayyyyyy to harsh. It's just he's annoying. With his pride and all that. But to be fair, I can't blame him for being so vain. I mean did you see him.

He was fairly tall, maybe 6ft something. A lean but large build, not looking like The Big Show basically. His light brown hair, which was done up with a heavy amount of gel, complimenting his hazelnut eyes, with a shine seeping through, but pushed back by the dullness of his eyes. He had a nicely tailored black tux on, with each inch -of it perfectly crisp. I mean he wasn't ugly. In fact, he was far more handsome then any guy I've seen in my life, forget dated. Gosh, what am I getting myself into?

I attempted to stop thinking about him, ironic how I'm marrying the guy I'm trying to forget, isn't it? I grabbed the petite, blue velvet box which he left, and slowly opened it, to reveal a beautiful, silver diamond ring. It sparkled so bright, the light from the crystals on the ceiling also shining down, almost blinding me. Wow, this was beautiful. I've never been one for diamonds and pearls, but this was really something. I felt connected to it. As though, someone whose been close to me forever has handed this to me. I truly was grateful for Mrs. Mirza for giving me this magnificent jewel. I needed to remember to Thank her when I see her, because this was really a piece of art.

Just as I closed the box, someone barged into the room squealing. I turned to find Nash with a red face, jumping ecstatically like a bunny on drugs.

"What's up with you? I questioned as she gave me a dead pan look and screamed.

"H, what the heck happened? What did he say? Oh, My Dase, did he tell you, you look hot? Did he kiss you?" She spoke, rushing her words out, impatiently waiting for me to respond.

"Erm, No?" I spoke, answering her question with another question.

"What do you mean, No? What happened?"

"Nothing, he's just a douche and a piece of poo, who I never want to see again."

"Huh, you're getting married though. Stop being a toad. He's so sexy, he's the one."

"Just cause he's very hot, does not mean he's a good guy. For all I know he could be in the bloody mafia?!" I spoke harshly to Nash.

"Bro, even if he is, who the fuck cares, he's a bloody GAZILLIONAIRE." She spoke, exaggerating every word.

"Yeah, I don't care, but to be honest he's alright, he's a jerk face but he's alright. I can feel it." I spoke, being completely honest with her as she stared wide-eyed at me.

"What? What do you mean, he's alright? What can you feel?" She spoke shocked at my words.

"I don't know I can feel it, he's alright, I saw it in his eyes. But oh well, we will see, gotta go live the rest of my life with him." I spoke pursing my lips as I finished speaking.

"Oh yeah baby, I can totally see it, you two falling in love. Can't waittttt!" Nash spoke, diverting the topic to something completely random, whilst I just stared at her and continued to roll my eyes at her waffle.
