Chapter 2: the park and ice cream

Adoras POV

This morning was boring.

I got up, brushed my hair, put it in a tight ponytail, eat breakfast, brushed my teeth, and I honestly just wanted to get the hell out of my house.

I walked to my car and sat down in the drivers seat pulled out my phone and was texting my friends.

Adora: Hey Glimmer, Bow!

Glimm: Hey!

Bow: Hi Adora!😀

Adora: Ok, so were meeting up in 30 min ok, Glimm do you have the notebooks?

Glimm: yup! I'm also bringing snacks and a blanket

Bow: Like a picnic?!

Glimm: sure

Adora: sounds good! And Catra will be with us during the project!

Glimm: Catra?

Bow: Who's that?

Adora: just a friend that's helping us!

Glimm: "friend" whatever you say Adora

Bow: Glimmer!

Bow: I'm so sorry Adora!

Adora: it fine, and no Glimmer she's just a friend! She a little mean at first but then we just clicked and now we're friends!

Glimmer: did you get her number?

Adora: yea y?

Glimmer: 😏

Bow: GLIMMER!!

Glimmer: 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

Adora: OK! Bye! See ya!

I put my phone in my jeans pocket and started driving to the park.

I arrived at the park and saw my friends already there, but no sign of Catra yet. I walked over to the tree the were under in the shade and sat down. "Hey guys!" I waved enthusiastically, they smiled and waved back, "Hey adora!" They said in unison. They stared at each other for a second before saying-

"Jinx!"

"Jinx!"

They both pointed at each other.

"Double jinx!"

"Double jinx!"

They said together again, I said, "I think Bow got it this time Glimmer..." I smirked and folded my arms, she stared at me in shock while Bow just laughed in victory. "Hahaha, you owe me a ice cream!" He said through a laugh, Glimmer just pouted and crossed her arms.

I saw the picnic basket next too Glimmer and reached into it to take a snack, only for my hand to be smacked away by a hand. "Hey!" I semi-shouted at Glimmer as I pulled my hand to my chest and stared at her in fake betrayal.

"Sorry! But we have to wait until everyone is here before we can eat." She pointed out, 'Catra please tell me your about to turn around the corner right now!' I thought, Bow and Glimmer were having a conversation of there own to which I didn't really care all that much, right now I was just in my own world daydreaming about Catra.

Adoras daydream

"Hey Adora~" I heard a voice behind me, I was currently in my bedroom and I turned around to see Catra there leaning against the door frame looking at me very sultry.
