She noticed two doors. She stood up and went to open one of the doors, which lead to the bathroom. It was practically sparkling white and there is the shower and the racks. Everything was neat and looked new.

She comes out of the en suite bathroom and went to the next door. It looks like a closet. There was an empty shoe rack and places where bags could be placed. There is also a small pink bed at the centre. At one end are three long rolls of cupboards and she guesses that is where she will keep her clothes. Her bags were sitting close to the dressing table and mirror.

The room was fully furnished. And she wondered if he did this just for her or his previous girlfriend.

She stayed in the room for the remainder of the day. She doesn't want to see Demilade. She knew she had overstepped her boundary. She shouldn't have talked to him like that. She don't know what he could do to her. But she didn't regret it either. If they were going to live in the same house for thirty days, he have to know how to respect her too.

She will give him his respect and distance but he had to do the same. He had to respect her as well. She deserves that despite he was paying her. They needed each other and they should do just what need to be done and everyone goes back to the way things are. If not, he will have to deal with whatever the consequences are. She wasn't taught to be a coward. She can be very blunt if she wants to.

But she hope his anger would have been subsidised when next she sees him.

Later in the afternoon, she called her father.

"Hello dear. How is the place? Hope you didn't get on the wrong side of Mr Demilade?" Her father asked.

"No daddy. Don't you trust me?" She asked with a pout.

"Of course, I do. I just need to make sure. You don't know him well and the same goes for him. So how are you?" He asked her, concerned.

"So far, everything is okay. I'm in the room he gave to me. It's big dad. It's well-furnished. It's a girl's dream room. Most of the things in it are so expensive and amazing. And very nice. I wish you were here." She commented looking around the room. She had spent hours after Demilade walked out of the room to look at every single piece and furniture in the house. She learns how to use the devices in the ensuite bathroom. Some devices made her look stupid and some she just have to let it be because she don't know how to use it and getting into trouble by spoiling something in the house isn't what she wanted.

"I wouldn't say you should not enjoy it while you are there but don't get used to it, Lola. You know how and why you are there. It is for a short while. Don't let it get to you. And don't forget the child of who you are." Her father replied to her, calmly.

"I won't daddy. I promise."

"Thank you Lola mi. How was your meeting with his mother? Mrs Jolaoluwa."

"She is nice. She is more friendly than her son. She likes me. It just hurt that I will have to lie to her that I am dating her son." She said sadly.

"That is one of the consequences of the decisions you made dear. You will have to deal with it. But I'm glad she likes you. Mrs Jolaoluwa had always been a good woman. Unlike her son Mr Demilade, she is nicer." He said in support.

"Yes oh, daddy. But daddy, why do you like calling him Mr Demilade? Demilade is his name. His first name." She asked curiously.

"I see you are calling him Demilade." He noted.

She groaned. "I can't call him Mr if I am his girlfriend. It will sound weird. And he didn't complain when I call him by his first name."

"Okay. If you say so. And you are right. Demilade is his first name. But he hates people calling him by his surname. Most people know him as Demilade. Only a few people know his surname." He answered his daughter.

"Daddy, do you know his surname?" She asked.

"Yes, I do. One time, I asked one of his friends. It's Ninalowo."

"Ninalowo. It's a fine name. Why doesn't he like to be called by the name?"

"You like to ask a lot of questions. I don't know the answer to that but Tiwalola, be careful with what you ask though. Please, I'm begging. Don't let your curiosity lead you into trouble Lola."

"Daddy, you've started again. Stop being dramatic. I have heard you. I won't get myself into trouble. Do you think I will sit with Demilade... Oh, Mr Demilade and ask him all this." She said pouting. His eyes only are enough to shut her up. She completed inwardly.

"Alright, I've heard you." He said.

"How are the twins? I'm already missing them. When they get back from school, I will call again."

"Okay. Take care, my dear." He said.

"You too dad." She said and she made a kissing sound before hanging up the phone.

She is really gonna miss her family.
