8 o'clock, burning the wax alone,
Lighting up the lights, and switched off,
I've come early, from the busy work, I
Built up the white blanket fort,
Remember how we planned,
Sleeping together,
Even in our graves...

Diving deep into the beautiful shallows,
Crying but haven't thrown out my hollows,
Breathing in the silent wails,
I'm breathing in the silent wails...

Watching dusk, watching dawn,
Waiting for you,
Baby doll, won't you come?
The rain shall guide you...
Breathing in the silent wails,
I'm breathing in the silent wails!

True love never dies, they say where,
I hate you turns into,
I love you, isn't it too late?
Shirt exchange,
How cute did you look, do you remember?
Do you remember...

Diving deep into the beautiful shallows,
Crying but haven't thrown out my hollows,
Breathing in the silent wails,
I'm breathing in the silent wails...

Watching dusk, watching dawn,
Waiting for you,
Baby doll, won't you come?
The rain shall guide you...
Breathing in the silent wails,
I'm breathing in the silent wails!

Behind the song:

Behind the song is all feelings of a lover. The idea of this song took birth actually from our '20 Jawans' we had lost in the Galwan Valley attack. I've researched the lives of the wives of soldiers through their interviews, facebook posts and every possible source.

They wait for their husbands for months and years. But when the wait is supposed to be over, they recieve the dead bodies of their life partners.

(Please donot let feminism come into play here, I obviously agree that there are female soldiers too. No doubt in it, sure!)

So, later on, if we assess the conditions of our doctors right now, it may happen and has happened in this field too. They are our present day warriors, isn't it? So why not understand them and their feeling too?  Thus this song comes on the track.

Merci Beaucoup!
