First day

Lucy shot up from her bed as she realised what day it was, she was back in her hometown and she was starting school again today. Looking at her clock it was half six plenty of time. She went for a quick shower and fell as she was getting out, great start to the day Lucy she said mocking herself. Walking back to her room she got dressed into her normal school like clothes: a pure black jumper and a pair of blue skinny jeans with a pair of combat boots so she could keep all of her scars hidden.

She started to fix her hair so it would cover her eyes if the bullying got too much and she started to cry before she got out of the room, at least it wouldn't be as noticeable just as she looked at her phone she started swearing. Realising if she didn't take her motorbike she would be late for her first day, hurrying Lucy shoved on her leather jacket grabbed everything else she needed and ran out the door jumping onto her motorbike and speeding all the way to the school; as Lucy pulled up at the school She started to think her luck was coming back as she arrived with ten minutes before the first class even started.

She hopped off the bike and walked up to the school ignoring the whispers of the teens surrounding her. This wasn't going to be a good day, she thought as she entered the reception area she felt all the eyes in the room suddenly turn and glare at her. She tried not to but failed as she flinched at the force of the glares, she walked up to the receptionist and stated why she was here. The woman glanced at her quickly and brought out the information for Lucy ( her locker code and her timetable ) as she handed Lucy the papers she spat out the word "murderer" before she could leave, yep. They all knew a part of the story and she was hated for it. Her day was just going to get worse as soon as she went to her classes: she knew it.

As she was walking to her locker a girl about her age ran up to her Lucy flinched thinking she was going to hit her but instead the girl hugged her. Lucy was shocked who would hug her? As the girl pulled away Lucy saw her short blue hair that was hidden by the girls jet black beanie, Lucy gasped as the girl started to speak " hey lu-chan long time no see " "Levy, I don't believe it's you or that you would want to talk to someone like me " Levy looked at her with a sad smile and said " why wouldn't I want to talk to my best friend I haven't seen in about seven years " Lucy smiled a genuine smile. The first genuine smile in years as the continued to walk to Lucy's locker Levy abruptly stopped and turned Lucy was Puzzled fir a moment when Levy smiled and said "let me see your time table " Lucy smiled and handed her timetable to Levy who started to smile a crazy smile and beamed at Lucy "your in all of my classes Lu-chan " Lucy looked shocked as levy started to pull her hand saying she wanted to get to class on time Lucy was dragged behind with an expression of complete bewilderment

After the first five classes, Lucy was completely bored. She was ahead of everyone in every class. As the lunch bell rang Levy grabbed Lucy's hand saying she wanted her to meet her friends, Lucy knew this was a bad idea and didn't want Levy to get hurt so she tried to refuse but Levy wasn't allowing that. She dragged Lucy up to a large oak tree, next to the tree there was a small group of people when they saw levy the started to smile until the noticed Lucy behind her "Levy who the hell do you think that is your dragging behind you " a young man with coal black hair yelled "Gray calm down she is my best friend " the boy named Gray started screaming at levy " what the hell levy don't you know she is a murderer " at this point Lucy's eyes were rooted to the floor she didn't want levy to loose all her friends " levy-Chan I don't want you to loose all your friends over me so Ill see you later okay " Levy turned round at this point and tried to stop her but she raised her hand and started to speak again " don't worry about me, Levy I'm used to it " Levy looked shocked as she realised the sleeve of Lucy's jumper had rolled down her arms showing her wrists covered in scars "lu-chan what have you done to your wrists " Levy asked her in a low and calm voice at this point she knew she was about to start crying so she didn't answer, she just turned and ran away.

*Levy's point of view *

"Lu-chan what happened to your wrists, " I asked her in a low tone so she didn't think I was angry at her. I knew the whole story of her mum's death but she told me never to breathe a word to anyone, after that her father moved with her across the country and I never saw her again, until today. Lucy looked close to tears as she turned and ran away from me.

I had tears streaming down my face as I turned around to Gray and the others " Why were you so mean to lu-chan " Lissana walked over to me and hugged me " levy was that the girl you told me about? the one that got framed for the murder of her mum when she was ten? " All of my friends looked at me and I nodded, Gray then got up and walked over to me " is what Lissana just saying true? " I nodded my head once more and Gray frowned "I owe her a huge apology then " I realised what he said and screamed no, they all looked at me. Like I was crazy. Until I explained everything to them.

"If Lucy finds out you know I will be hated forever." after a few nods of agreement about saying nothing, I began to tell them about Lucy's past. "Lucy's mum Layla was really weak and didn't have a high chance of surviving another year but she was really rich, causing her to be a target of criminals. It was around 3 in the morning when Layla was getting her medicine when a bunch of crooks broke into the house. They threatened Layla with a knife and she screamed, at this time Lucy woke up from a nightmare and heard her mum scream. She ran to her and she was abused by the crooks. They left just before the police arrived and Lucy gave her statement, they actually caught the crooks and they are behind bars but as Lucy's father didn't see the crooks he blamed Lucy for Layla's death. Everyone thought she actually did murder her causing everyone to hate her, I thought you guys would have realised she isn't what the rumours say and would become her friends. I am her only friend the only friend she ever had and you just made her hate me. " I finished speaking with tears streaming down my face looking around to see how everyone in the group was taking the news everyone had faces of shock and upset before I noticed the absence of one pink haired friend and asking "where's Natsu? "
