"Everything we've been taught is a lie, a fallacy."
Aella Farley has spent her whole life preparing for the Hunger Games, because in District 2 winning means bringing glory and honor to your district. This is how she was raised, and this is how she...
In the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol sends children from the districts off to an arena where only one leaves alive.
For most people in the districts, this is seen as a death sentence. Some, however, are honored to take part in these Games.
Aella Farley was raised with swords in her hands and fire in her veins. She wants nothing more than to win glory for her district. So when the 67th Hunger Games roll around, she happily volunteers.
Aella is not prepared to face the lies she's been fed head-on. Her world will be destroyed right before her eyes. Can she find a way to fix her mistakes, or is it too late to reverse the damage?
