grace had disappeared and she knew grace won't be back till the next 35mins.

She must have thought kelvin is some sort of boyfriend.

My name is Ohunene, she said staring daggers at him, he had pronounced nene like it was shit. The guy sure knows how to get on my nerves.

Your life is in danger, Kelvin blurted out.

It definitely wasn't how he had planned to tell her but the look she had sent him said 'hurry up and be done with'.

Nene felt a cold shiver run through her spine, not what she had been expecting.

I think the better qharmuestion should be "who will want to me" kelvin said harshly.

You walked in to a restaurant, insulted someone you didn't know and your guts told you there will be no retaliation.

That sank in, it all dawned on nene.

When she and zozy had seen the letter,they were surprised and afraid, wondering who she had offended and it still didn't occur to either of them that it was the girl at the restaurant, weeks and weeks ago.

I'm sorry for my behavior, i wasn't expecting you to say that, nene said feeling guilty for acting snobbishly.

What were you thinking i was going to say, kelvin said with a smile releasing the tension that hung in the air.

To tell you the truth, i was sent a threat note, nene said with a sad demeanor.

Ohunene don't be scared......... kelvin started to say,he wanted to introduce nene to Christ and make her understand that only Jesus can save her but she interrupted him.

Am not scared, i'm totally sold out to Christ,my life isn't mine anymore, it's given to christ and i know no one has the power to take it except God permit.

I'm worried, worried that someone out there is after my life,worse still it's my fault and i don't even know her,an unknown enemy, nene said sadly.

Kelvin was taken aback with surprise, he didn't expect her to be a Christian and before he could hide his surprise she saw
it. She looked hurt.

I know i didn't behave in a christ like manner in the restaurant that day.

I could have left with grace without insulting her,i just couldn't stand body shaming because....... 'i know how it hurts' nene had almost said.

Thank God she had stopped herself and before he could ask what she wanted to say she continued.

I regret what i did but i don't regret meeting grace, pls don't say anything about this when she's around, i don't want her feeling like she got me in trouble.

Okay, kelvin said. Now that he knew little about her he realised how wrong he was to have judged her.

The girl you insulted her name is nancy, she is the queen bee of this school, slay queen,kelvin said fishing for her reaction .

She definitely looked like a slay queen since she was dressed to kill guys like you, nene said trying to lighten the mood.

Charms like that don't work for me, kelvin replied laughing.

And i hope am not interrupting, zozy said walking in on the duo, passing nene a mischievous smile and kelvin an inquisitive look.

Kelvin meet zozy my bf and zozy meet kelvin, nene said not minding zozy's 'kelvin my who' look.

Kelvin would be accompanying us home, i said to zozy.

What?? what do you mean kelvin is following us home, zozy said with a panic stricken face.

I almost laughed, zozy had scattered all her clothes up and down in the room especially her under wears.

Calm down he's not entering our room i said to zozy who then looked visibly calmed.

'Hey girls am still here' kelvin said trying to get their attention, they were actually acting like he was not there.

Yes i know, nene said passing Kelvin a smile and just then grace walked in.

Hope i didn't stay out to long, grace said.

You are 5mins late zozy said.

Sorry momma, grace said giving zozy the puppy eyes, I just wanted to give someone space.

And we really should, zozy said dragging grace leaving nene and kelvin behind as they walked home.

Kelvin sighed in relief inwardly, he had just been pondering how he will walk with three girls by his side.

Nene is the first girl he actually felt comfortable speaking with .

As they walked,kelvin explained everything to nene about the dead girl and nancy being a girl friend to a renowned cult group.

But he didn't tell her about Daniel, it will only be putting her life in more danger than it is already.

Kelvin knew he was the only person in the whole school who knew the identity of a cultist and is still alive, that in it's self is a miracle.

This is the letter, nene said handing it over to kelvin who was standing by her door.

It's the same cult group i told you about, Kelvin said after checking out the note. You need to be careful don't go out in the night.

Sure i won't, nene said, she was surprised at how concerned he actually looked.

I hope to see you in fellowship next week ohunene, kelvin said, he had invited her and her friends.

He made her understand there was little or nothing he could do to help her than informing her to be more careful and prayerful.

We will be there and thanks a whole lot, nene said feeling her stomach flutter.

Its funny how not so long ago, she was angry with the way he pronounced her name and now she feels giddy whenever he calls her name in full.

He's the first non ebira guy to really pronounce her name correctly.

Good evening, it's evening over here. For me this is the longest have updated, i don't know if it's because my mom won't let me be, always calling me every two mins and i have to leave my phone 😠😃
