Chapter 2

It was the next day, 7:00 am and I was already up and downstairs making coffee for Elena and tea for me (I'm not really a coffee person, that's Elena and Jeremy). At about 7:10 Elena came hopping down the stairs.

"Hey Lena, I made you coffee, after this we go on our little adventure"

"Hey, thanks and yeah okay I've got all my stuff ready so we can head straight out"

After 10 minutes we were ready to head out, I grabbed my leather jacket then walked out the door into my black range rover, Elena hopped in the passenger seat and we head off to the mall.

A couple hours later and we found the perfect dresses, due to us finishing our shopping so early we decided to hang out, I drove to the grill. When we arrived we left our bags in the car and walked in.

"Hey why don't you go find a seat and I'll get the drinks" I said. Elena did as I said and I went to the bar only to find Damon there smirking at me, I rolled my eyes and asked Matt for two coca cola's.

"So what are you and Elena doing?" Damon said with that little eye thing he does.

"We are hanging out aren't we allowed to do that now?" I said annoyed

"No, no ,no I just wanted to make sure that you were staying home tomorrow for the ball and tell Elena not to leave either, I mean it Alex I don't want you guys getting hurt" Damon said sternly.

"Yeah okay whatever, well bye Damon" I said as I waved at him and walked away to the table Elena chose " two coca cola's our favourite" I said with a huge smile plastered on my face.

"Thank you, hey what did Damon want?"

"He wanted to make sure we were staying home because he doesn't want to see us get hurt" I said with a bored tone.

After we finished our coke's we retreated to my car and I drove us home. We walked through the door and I ran upstairs to drop my bags on the floor. I then proceeded to walk back downstairs and sit on the sofa next to Elena to which I then brought her in for a hug.

We ended up watching all our program's like Reign, American horror story etc. then at 10:00 pm we went upstairs as we were exhausted from today's events, we bid each other goodnight just like we normally do and went into our separate bedrooms. I took off my clothes and put on my pyjamas, I then went to bed, falling asleep whilst think about tomorrow and what would come of our lovely meeting with Esther.
