Just to clarify, I was rushed and I made like 3 different versions of this story. Original, another version, and another another version.. There are many errors and stuff, but I'll edit it out soon. Well, I think there are a couple errors. Anywa, enjoy!

Original

Clay opened his phone and checked his voicemail, seeing a number he didn't recognize. He hesitated to open it, knowing that it was his soulmate. But who was it?

He played the voicemail.

"He's taller than I thought he would be.. At least he's shorter than me. And damn, cuter than me too." Clay blushed and put up his hood and looked at Dave. He knew Dave's voice pretty well.

Dave looked away and played his voicemail.

"Well, he's hot. He's actually going to be the end of me. I wish I didn't have to be here, I'm going to be a mess in front of him." Dave saw Clay look away in embarrassment.

"So, you don't wanna be here with me?" Dave said, Clay shook his head. Everyone stared at them like it was a movie. But Zak felt like he could cry, but he tried his best not to. He was too upset to open his own voicemail.

"I don't mean it like that." Clay said, they both smiled at each other. Dave patted his head with his sleeve.

"Sure you didn't." Dave rolled his eyes, they both laughed. Zak had a pit in his stomach. He was jealous and overall mad. But it wasn't his right to be mad at two people meant to be.

Darryl only looked at his phone, trying to talk to Zak, seeing if he was even alive at that point. Zak could only stare at the two smiling and talking, he couldn't focus on anything but them. Their hands slowly touched until they were holding each other's hands, and Zak could see that they were clearly in love

He hated himself in this exact moment. Why hadn't the universe wanted him and Dave to be together? What was so special about Clay?

He huffed and sat up straight, shaking his head and looking at Darryl. Darryl looked worried and so he gave a small smile. Darryl took it as a sign he was okay.

Zak looked down at Dave's hand, the one that was holding Clay's. If only it could've been holding his hands.

-

This wasn't Zak's day. He was currently awake at 3:00 inside his room, Vincent and Darryl were on the couch while Jude and George slept inside the guest room. They had found out that they were soulmates earlier, and Jude and George accepted that, mainly because they had a crush on each other for a while.

Mega and Jacob lived together and decided to sleep at their own place, mainly because they wanted to leave Clay and Dave alone and Zak's house was getting full.

Dave was only visiting and decided to stay in Clay's house. He found Zak's house to be full and Clay's house was perfect because no one was gonna stay in it, mainly for the fear of waking up to see Clay had drawn on their faces. Dave wasn't afraid of that though.

He was perfectly fine with Clay doing that, mainly because he takes showers in the morning, and Clay's pranks would work because Dave didn't wake up as easy as Clay. Clay on the other hand woke up late and is a light sleeper, meaning he woke up to every little noise.

Zak sat up and looked on his phone. He looked at people to contact and his finger pressed on Dave's number.

The bright phone made Zak squint, but he wanted to call Dave.

"Why are you calling Dave at 3?" He heard, but it wasn't Dave. Dave's voice was a lot deeper and scary. It was Clay.

"I just wanted to talk." Zak said, Clay yawned and sat up.
