Percy ran inside the classroom, panting. She sighed in relief as she noticed that Professor Binns was yet to arrive. As her friends had promised, they have saved a seat next to Draco. She slipped into her seat, dropping her satchel on the floor.

"Where is Binns?" She whispered to him.

"No idea." Draco whispered back. "What was your doubt anyway?"

"I asked him whether it was okay if I use the text translation charm in the essay." The lie rolled off her mouth smoothly.

Draco nodded. "Have you ever tried to cast a patronus charm, Dragon?"

His face became stoic and he pressed his mouth into a thin line. He shook his head. "No, death eaters cannot produce a patronus, Percy."

"We just had a discussion on how they could and you are an ex-death eater." She pointed out.

"We need happy memories, Percy and I don't have any. Plus, Severus was a skilled wizard." He refused to meet her eyes.

Percy frowned and tilted her head. "You can always make new ones, you know." She laid a hand on his back.

He moved away from her to the other side of the bench. Her frown deepened as she retracted her hand, feeling a bit hurt and bad for going too far. "None strong enough to produce a patronus. You're talking about the impossible."

He didn't want her. He didn't deserve her. He didn't want those happy memories only for them to disappear in a blink of an eye and he would be left yearning for those. She didn't have to come into his mess of his life, he was dangerous. She has to stay away from him. Everybody has to stay away from him.

Percy turned to the front and crossed her arms. 'It is impossible', she hated those words with burning passion. Impossible? How many times had she heard those words? A million times, and each and every time she had proved them wrong. She hated being told that she couldn't do it and also when others give up.

What she couldn't comprehend was why do they never try? Just giving it a try wouldn't hurt a fly. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. It can't become the truth just because a stupid git said it. The only place where thoughts becomes impossible is in their own thinking. 'If he is gonna be stubborn, I'll do the same,' she decided.

"Saying it's impossible to me is a dangerous thing to do."

Draco internally sighed but maintained his demeanor on the outside. She just can't understand, but she'll soon, he thought to himself miserably.

Professor Binns entered the classroom at that time. He floated to the center of the class and greeted everyone dully, not even noticing Dean and Seamus were asleep on the desk, snoring loudly.
