This isn't Wartwood ... (An Amphibia Story)

Chapter 1

It was a beautiful day in the town of Wartwood. A bug 🐛 just went inside of a house, the usual frog was taken away by a humongous fly and the frog kids were playing. Life there was good

Hop pop was driving the cart to the Market and in the back, a Young 12 year old Frog named Sprig and a Pollywog named Polly were in the back. He stopped the snail 🐌 and looked at his kids

"All right kids, I'm gonna do a little shopping. You stay here and watch the cart." Said Hop pop

"You got it Hop Pop! I'll defend this cart with my life!" Said Sprig as he pounded his chest like a gorilla 🦍.

"Sprig I was talking to Polly" Said Hop pop

"Polly? But Polly's a baby." Said Sprig

"You're a baby!" Replied Polly

"Pollys got more responsibility in her little flipper then you have in your entire body." Said Hop pop

"Ridiculous! What makes you think I'm irresponsible?" Asked Sprig

"Oh Gee, let me think." Said Hop pop sarcastically.

Flashback 1

Hop pop was cooking in the kitchen when Sprig walked in.

"Hey Hop pop, Need any help cooking?" Asked Sprig

"Sprig, we both know how much of a Klutz you are in the kitchen." Said Hop pop

"Come on! Let me help! Please!" Said Sprig as he did cute little puppy eyes.

"Fine but just don't-

BAMMMMMM!

Hop pop turned around and saw Exploded Food all around the place and on Sprig's Face

"Oops." Said Sprig

Hop pop frowned

"Touch anything."

Flashback 2

Hop pop was about to fall asleep when he saw a giant Cow worm 🐛 🐄 crash through his room.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Flashback 3

Sprig was playing with his action figures when he heard Hop Pop yell

"SPRIG! WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT LEAVING THE LIGHTS ON?!" Said Hop pop

"Oh come on hop pop, what's the worst that could happen?" Asked Sprig to himself

All of a sudden flies attacked the house and were breaking the house!

Today ..........

"Ok so yesterday was a bad day." Said Sprig.

"Uh Huh." Said Hop pop as he hopped out of the cart.

"Polly make sure Sprig stays in the cart." Said Hop pop as he went inside the store

Sprig sighed and sat down.

"Wish there was a way to show Hop pop I'm not such a Goof-up." Said Sprig

Polly gave him a look that showed she felt sorry for him. She didn't like it when he called himself a Goof-up.

All of a sudden there was this great shiny light that shined from the forest! It clearly caught all the frogs attention

"What is that?" Asked One Frog

"I don't know." Answered another frog.

The light shined brighter and brighter until finally, it stopped and the light was now gone! The frogs looked shocked and they were even more shocked when Wally came by running.

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Yelled Wally.

All the frogs surrounded him. Mayor Toadstool walked by and calmed him down

"Simmer down now! Now Wally tell us what happened." Asked The Mayor

"It was crazy! I was just singing my songs when I saw this magical chest! I opened it and this light just came out! I ran out of there as soon as I could before anything bad could happen to me." Explained Wally.

Everyone gasped

"We better find this chest or something bad might happen to the town ......... again, because for Mayor Toadstool your safety comes first." Said Toadstool

"Polly, I just had a great idea. I am going to find the chest and save the town!" Said Sprig.

He was about to leave when Polly stopped him

"Stop right there! Hop pop said you have to stay in the cart. 🛑" Said Polly

She then showed her muscles to Sprig

"You know you can't take me!" Said Polly

Sprig groaned. As much as he'd hate to admit it, she was right. He couldn't take her on. Mostly because she's a baby and she has the strength of 1,000 hippos 🦛.

Luckily he knew one thing that would get her to not take him on.

"Hey Polly look! Candy 🍬 🍭" Said Sprig as he dropped the candy on the ground

"Bribe accepted!" Said Polly as she ate the candy like Pac-Man.

"Let the treasure hunt begin!" Said Sprig as he hopped out of the cart and over to Wally

"Don't die!" Yelled Polly

Sprig rolled his eyes at the comment and hopped into the woods. He hopped around and searched everywhere, being prepared for anything that might attack him. He then saw the chest. He picked it up.

"Hmmm seems like this is the chest." Said Sprig

He looked at it and got confused, he didn't understand why this little simple chest looked so powerful based on the light that it shot out

"This is strange, this chest doesn't look powerful at all, it must have been Wally's wild imagination getting the better for him." Said Sprig

That was when he made the worst mistake that anyone could ever make

He opened the chest.

The chest started glowing and shot bright colors. It was shining Pink and Blue colors everywhere! Sprig was getting scared so he put the chest down and started to run, but the chest was very interested in Sprig. It sucked his feet and Sprig fell to the ground, he couldn't run anymore

"Somebody help me!!" Yelled Sprig

The chest sucked him in even more and after a while, he was finally gone. The chest was also gone and Sprig's adventure was only beginning
