“...and that is how we solve for y.” He said as a sigh of relief was heard from the whole class. It's been an hour and 40 minutes and I'm beginning to feel like I could run mad any moment.

“Any questions? ” He asked finally as he was closing the pages of the huge further math book and lifting his head to face us all. Everyone is so eager to leave this class; I doubt there would be any questions.

“Sir”

Or so I thought.

Pelumi calls for his attention once more with her right hand shot in the air, looking as confused as ever. I stand corrected, anyone except Pelumi.

The girl refuses to learn.

“You see? Here is a good and focused student that is ready to learn. A class is not complete when it's not interactive. ” He started off as I face palmed.

Abeg, let's just get on with this and be dismissed in peace. Although some are already in pieces on their desks, sitting for so long.

“He would soon insult her after hearing her dumb question oo. Just watch.” Adaora whispered to me as I chuckled. She's right though.

“Serious student, ask your question my dear.” He smiled at her sending the rest of the class a glare.

“Sir, I don't understand anything you explained.” She said as low snickers were heard from different angles of the classroom.

“Serious student, oshey” Dayo commented before laughing along with his friends. Very expected from the class clown.

“Look at his face, he's about to blow.” Adaora whispered doing a countdown.

“5” She whispered pointing out five fingers.
“4” She whispered again putting down one finger.
“3” She said laughing as Mr Fagbenro's ears twitched in annoyance, huffing and probably thinking of possible names to call Pelumi.
“2” He glared at her massively as Pelumi immediately sat down sinking into her seat.
“1” She added as Mr Fagbenro's voice filled the air.

“You are so dumb. I should have known you weren't smart enough to ask a reasonable question. You people always give me problems. Are you the only students in the world. I teach at four different schools and one is Rainbow's pride that you all know is not too far away. They are way more coordinated than you bunch of vagabonds...” He rants leaving a trail of profanities with annoyance and fury laced in his voice.

Oh Lord!

“...and you! You didn't understand everything I have been explaining for close to two hours. How would you understand with your blockhead?” He asked dropping his books and pacing around the class.

OK, that was a little much.

“When I was your age, I was always eager to learn. We all wanted to learn new things and we were thrilled by success but you all only want to burn your parent's money. All you want to do is Snapchat and Facebook. Yes, I know! You think I didn't see the photo you posted on Facebook, ehn Figba. You and Teni were wearing bump shorts. You cannot even dress decently these days.” He continued.
