"Hey dad, can you look after Heidi for an hour or two" I shout through my dads cave
"Yea sure, why though where are you going" He asks as he enters the main room
"Harry is taking me out" I say smiling brightly
"He's a good man, I like him" My dad states
"Im glad you like him dad" I say still smiling "anyway I've got to get going, cause I still don't know what I want to wear"
"Have fun" My dad shouts as I leave
"We will" I laugh

"Oh my god, I don't know what to wear" I cry after pulling out most of the clothes in my wardrobe
"Just wear this" Uma sighs while throwing an outfit at me
"Fine, I'll be right back" I say going into mine and Harry's room
"Where's Harry by the way?" I hear Uma shout from the other room
"I thought you sent him to go do something" I say confused
"No I was going to but he said he was busy so I sent Josh" she replies
"We'll he needs to be back in an hour, cause I don't know where I'm meant to be going" i laugh
"Can you hurry up with this outfit" Uma complains
"Hold on, I'm just getting the shoes on" I say rolling my eyes

"Oh girl you are looking FIRE" Uma compliments while laughing
"Thank you very much" I say twirling my skirt
"Well we've got at least 45 minutes till pirate boy should be here so what do you wanna do" Uma asks resting her chin on her hand
"We could go down to the Ship and boss people about" I suggest shrugging my shoulders
"That is a very good idea" she says smiling
"Let's go" ~~~~~~ "Hey beast boy," I mock as I enter the bottom of the boat where Uma put the King
"What do you want" He says angrily
"Calm down hun, we just want to wand" I giggle
"Mal would never hand over the wand" He states
"Well probably not for any normal person like me but she would for you" I say
"Mal would rather protect auradon then give the wand to you" He defends
"We'll see about that" I laugh
"Who are you" He asks
"Not surprised you don't know who I am" i growl
"You're Mal's sister aren't you?" He asks again "the one who wasn't allowed to leave the isle"
"Not as dumb as I thought"
"Why are you doing this?" He asks starting to annoy me with all his questions
"Because I hate mal and I want my daughter to grow up somewhere better than this island" I answer simply
"Why do you hate your sister" He asks
"You ask too many questions" I say clearly annoyed
"Mal never told me that much detail on you, I just want to know you and not what people think you are" He says
My heart softened a little when I heard that...
"Look if we get the wand Heidi gets to live a better life and that's all I care about" I admit
"You don't need to threaten Mal for the wand to do that Maddie"
"That's the only way I can get someone from auradon to hear me" I say sadly
"Im sorry that it had to come to this" He apologises
"Well if it wasn't for your father no one who didn't deserve this would have to live here" I growl trying to still act tough and not bring my guard down "im done here..."
As I open the door to leave Ben says something
"What did mal do to make you hate her" he asks
I hesitate before answering simply
"She promised she'd come back for me but she never did and neither did Carlos and Evie"
And with that I walked through the door and left the King alone.
"Hey you go watch the king" I shout at a guy doing nothing nearby whole wiping a small tear that was running down my cheek before anyone notices
"What's up?" I hear Uma ask
"Nothing don't worry about it"

"It's nearly 6 harry should be here any minute" I state
Just as I say that I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and spin my around
"Hello darling" my boyfriend smiles when I'm facing him
"Why hello there" I laugh before kissing him on the nose
"You ready to go?" He asks
"Yep let's go" I smile at him completely forgetting about what happened early with Ben
I am a horrible person I know, i was meant to update like 2 weeks ago but completely forgot and then when I remembered I got writers block already which was fun and that is why this chapter is shorter than usual
OH and I need some opinions so comment which one you prefer:
• Longer chapters (1500-2000 words) that take longer to produce but would end the book quicker and would probably have more detail in
• Shorter chapters (800-1250 words) that I can produce much quicker and would let the book be longer but would possibly have less detail
