Hey.

Sorry for ghosting and not updating this story for like a year.

I really just lost interest in it since my taste in books
changed from simple stories with more dialogue
driven writing and quick easy reads to more complex
writing with lots of detail and such.

I've also cringed slightly at the idea of writing 
stories about real people. Like, writing a story about
Peter Parker is much different than writing a story
about Tom Holland. 

This is my second most popular story and It was really
high up in the rankings at one point, but I really just
lost interest in social media stories and personally
don't find them interesting to read or write.

Though I really love this story and it will always
hold a special place in my heart, I will be
discontinuing it until further notice.

I might come back and edit the entire thing and
maybe even finish it out to make it a short story
with like fifty chapters max, but for the moment
I'm sort of just leaving it. 

I left Wattpad for like six months to a year because
I just wasn't very confident in my writing like at all
and didn't really enjoy it anymore because it felt
more like a chore and a job than just a fun hobby.
I started way too many projects at once without thinking
about the fact that this was more than just some
hobby that I had, but it was entertainment for people
and, in a way, an actual job.

And of course, in that time away, a few of my stories
blew up, including this one. People really enjoyed my
writing even though I was like thirteen or fourteen when
I started most of these books and now I'm seventeen
going on eighteen in a few months.

I reread a lot of my old work, including unpublished work
that I did on the side for fun, and read a lot of really good
books on this site. It brought back my love of
reading and writing and I started back up where I left off
on a few of my stories, but this one I always sort of ignored.

I'm sorry to the people who really loved and enjoyed this 
story. I know it is some people's favorite from messages
I've gotten from readers asking if I would update. I know
how disappointing it is to get really into a story and when
you catch up to the most recent chapter you see the writer
hasn't touched it in a long time. It's discouraging and leaves
you sad that you don't get to get a proper ending for
the characters. I never enjoy discontinuing any of my stories
for this sole reason but I feel like just ignoring this story
isn't an option because of the traction it's been getting,
especially recently.

So yeah, I'm discontinuing this story until further notice
and maybe I'll come back to it one day and give Alexandra
the proper story she was meant to have.

Sorry again for any disappointment but I felt like I should
give an explanation because of the amount of people
that were asking me what happened to this story and 
were asking for an update. I didn't want to leave anyone
in the dark.
