Chapter Eight

"Tomioka Giyuu, why are you suddenly being nice to me?" Shinobu thought as they walked together,

She was partially getting wet from the rain since the umbrella wasn't big enough for the both of them,

"Kocho," Giyuu called out making her turn to him in confusion,

"Your shoulder." He pointed at her shoulder which was soaked,

"It's fine" Shinobu smiled at him ,

Giyuu then moved the umbrella more on her side than his

But then he'd get soaked,

Then the rain got heavier, The wind got stronger too,

"Kocho,Is your house near here?" Giyuu asked trying to keep their umbrella from flying away,

"It's a little close, why?" Shinobu replied,

"It's dangerous to stay out at a time like this" He answered and put his arm around her,

"Mr. Top Scorer, what are you doing?" She said in confusion and shoved his arm off,

"You might get blown away by the wind since you're so small"

This made Shinobu annoyed, just because she's small dosen't mean she's going to be blown away or something,

"Hey, Mr- no, Tomioka-san ." She called out with an angry temsiom in the air,

"What?" He looked at her in confusion, it was as if he didn't realize anything

"How is this guy even the Second year's top scorer?" Shinobu irritatedly asked herself,

"Yes I'm short and light, I get that a lot. But I'm not that light to the point I can be blown by the wind" She said smiling forcefully,

"Oh, okay." He said blankly,

"Anyways, You need to get home before the rain gets even stronger." Giyuu added,

"Right, It's this way" Shinobu brushed off her anger and started walking,

A few steps later..

"Mr. Top Scorer, stay here first" Shinobu togged on Giyuu's jacket,

"I'm fine, plus unlike you, I can easily get well." He replied shaking her off,

"You're gonna get sick and it will be my fault" She yelled out holding tightly onto him,

"Why are you so concerned?" Giyuu asked, Honestly he was getting irritated,

"I just said the reason?" Both of them were getting irritated at one another yet they didn't show it,

"Oh my! Shinobu you're here" Kanae said happily holding onto her umbrella,

"Nii-san" Shinobu let go of Giyuu's jacket,

"Good Morning, Vice president" He said formally making Kanae laugh a bit,

"Good morning Tomioka Giyuu-san, Also why is your shoulder soaked? Did Shinobu push you into the rain?" She asked jokingly,

"Nothing like that happened Nii-san!" Shinobu yelled out, her face was slightly red due to her embarassment,

"Her face is red...lol" Giyuu mentally laughed, He kind of found it adorable,

"I'm okay Vice President, Thank you for your concern" He said and bowed his head,

"Okay then" Kanae replied making Shinobu confused,

"Nii-san, He might get sick though" She said and looked down,

"He can take care of himself Shinobu" Kanae smiled at her and went into their house,

Timeskip to a week after,

It was another normal day for Giyuu,

He and Shinobu got closer, in fact Giyuu actually cherishes her,

The power was finally fixed,

"Good Morning Mr. Top Scorer" Shinobu yelled at Giyuu and smiled playfully,

"Kocho is really something huh" He thought and mentally laughed,

Little did he know he was already smiling,

"My my, Look who's smiling" She held onto his shoulder and dragged him to the school building,

"Oh." He snapped back into reality and put on his usual blank face,

"Aww, you know you looked better when you smile." Shinobu powted

"You didn't see anything." He said and shoved her hand off him ,

"You're being rude again.." She mumbled and turned away,

"No wonder you have no friends" She added and walked away,

"Thats pretty harsh, Giyuu-kun" Makomo said and pat his back,

"It's okay," Giyuu said and laughed a bit,

"Is that how you think of me, Kocho?"
