Chapter Three

Third Person:

Giyuu had two sides of him,

His friendly side and his normal side.

"Mr. Top Scorer," Shinobu teased knowing that Giyuu hated being called that.

"Don't call me that Kocho. Tomioka is fine." He said blankly, his usual side for most people in the 2nd year was blank and serious. Most people feared him, even other batches.

"It's the top scorer.."

"He's with Shinobu? Impossible!"

"I feel bad for her, she had to be stuck with him."

Mumbles and side comments fill the hallways as they pass by, Shinobu felt pity for Giyuu. No one deserved to be thought of this way.

=Timeskip until they get to the student council room=

"Ohayo, Top Scorer Tomioka Giyuu!" The vice president, Kocho Kanae greeted.

"Ohayo, why was I needed here vice president?" Giyuu asked with a blank tone in his voice, He was trying to be polite but didn't know how to express it.

"wait why did i ask- Kocho already said it earlier-" Giyuu mentally facepalmed and took a deep breath,

"I think Shinobu didn't explain that much," She chuckled, Kanae took out a few papers from a desk and gave it to him,

"There's a competition for all batches next week, It's a quiz bee," Kanae explained and gave a pen to Giyuu

"I was wondering if you, the 2nd year's top scorer, could represent the batch" She smiled at him politely,

"She looks like Butterfly pin girl, oh wait maybe they're friends or something" Giyuu thought, but little did he know they were actually siblings-

"Ah, sure Vice President." Giyuu replied, he took the pen and wrote his name on the paper.

"Thank you for your time, Tomioka-san." The Vice president smiled at him,

As Giyuu was about to leave the door burst wide open,
"Kanae! I'm so pissed. There was this one-" It was a white haired student with a scar on his face, he his uniform was partially unbuttoned and his chest was filled with bandages.

He looked at Giyuu and then suddenly lowered his head,
"Kanae, I'm sorry I bothered you right now. I didn't know there were other people" He said with a hint of guilt in his voice,

"It's okay Sanemi-kun, I forgot to tell you so it's my fault." Kanae smiled at him and bought out a stack of papers,

"Also please help me out with this later Sanemi," She said, tapping the papers on the desk

Shinazugawa Sanemi, the secretary of the student council. No one really knew how he looked like since when he ran for the student council, all they knew was he had great ideals for the school.

"Oh, Mr. Top scorer is still here! You may leave now." Kanae said politely,

"Ah, Thank you." Giyuu said and left the student council room,

As he was walking back to his classroom he felt someone grab his wrist,

"Mr. Top scorer~" It was Shinobu,
For some reason She wanted to befriend him because she thought he didn't have any friends.

"Butterfly hairpin girl again? What's up with today?" He thought

"What do you want, Butteryfly pin girl?" He said unintentionally glaring at her,
Giyuu really isn't good at expressing himself.

"Butterfly pin girl? Ara ara Mr. Top scorer, If you keep on calling me that then I won't stop doing the same." Shinobu teased,

"Fine, Kocho. Now what do you want?" He asked and checked the time,

"Better make it quick cause break time is almost over." He added,

Shinobu smiled at him and said,
"Let's have lunch together later! I know I got you late a while ago so I want to treat you as an apology."

Giyuu took a thought to it,
"I'll be hanging out with Makomo and Sabito later.. Maybe I should ask them before agreeing."

"I'll think about it Kocho." He turned around and walked away,

"This guy.. He's really familiar but it's just the first time I've met him." Shinobu said to herself and walked to her classroom.
