project metanoia was started by two of south korea's most famous soloists, han hyejin and kang yoonji. the two became popular by joining various survival shows. eventually they decided to stop joining survival shows and make their own company. in 2019, they founded ukiyo entertainment, the home to what will eventually be one of south korea's biggest monster rookie girl group.
