Chief: Cortana, inform the base I'll be bringing back a POW and a civilian

Cortana: done, Sargent Johnson would like a word with you when you get back

Chief: he said that?

Cortana: well what he actually said was "make sure big green gets his shiny metal ass to me so I can grill him for taking my mongoose and then I'll pat him on the back for capturing the rouge Dino from space" so it's close enough

Chief sighs but it's pretty true when it came to Johnson, he threw the elite over one shoulder while he cradled the kid in his left arm trying to make em as comfy as he could

Chief: I'll drop the kid off at the medics, do you think kelly would be willing to watch em? Many Linda?

Cortana: what about Fred?

Chief: he's going to pick up a special ops person, apparently they were on reach during everything that happened there

Cortana: I thought the whole planet got glassed, the Nobel team.....all of them died there

They road back to the base in silence except for the noise of the mongoose they road

When they got "home" Johnson started laying into chief as soon as he saw him

Johnson: big green! What you think your doing riding out like that without permission, on my personal mongoose no less?

Chief simply held up the limo elite and the kid

Chief: it's.....complicated

Johnson: oh you'll have plenty of time to explain it all to me green boy

Chief: here we go again
