5 years later.

"Sige mom. I'll bring Alix with me." I said before hanging up the phone. Agad naman akong bumalik sa pag-iinventory ng mga gamot dito.

I'm currently the head Pharmacist at our Pharmacy and so is Alix. After namin makapasa pareho sa board exam ay nag apply kami as assistant Pharmacist dito sa company namin. We decided to do that instead of using my parents para fair din sa ibang employees.

"Maglagay ka na nang Zidovudine doon kasi kokonti na ang stock." Sabi ko sa isang assistant. Agad naman akong pumunta sa harap dahil may customer.

"May dala ho ba kayong reseta?" I asked the elderly woman. She then handed me a paper at tinuro ang mga gamot na kailangan nya.

"Metformin, Atorvastatin, Amlodipine, and Omeprazole lang po?" I asked her once again just to make sure. "Tig-iilang piraso ho muna?" I softly asked her. I have a soft spot for the elderly.

"Tig-iisang banig muna siguro, baka hindi umabot ang pera ko." She said. I gave her a small smile bago ako tumalikod at kunin ang mga gamot nya.

"520 pesos po, May dala po ba kayong I.D para po may discoun" I asked then she handed me her senior citizen's I.D. "416 pesos nalang po 'la." I softly said. She then gave me her payment, agad ko naman 'yong inabot sa cashier namin.

"Nay, if ever po na kulang ang gamot nyo puntahan nyo lang po ako dito ha?" I said as I gave her the brown paper bag containing her maintenance medicines.

"Salamat, hija." She said, halatang pinipigilan nya ang luha nya. I smiled at her before she headed out.

"Alix let's go na, Mom wants to meet us para daw sa convention sa Australia." Tawag ko kay Alix, nakikipag chismisan pa kasi sya.

We bid our farewells to our co-workers then we went to a drive-thru to buy some coffee dahil libre daw ni Alix.

"Bakit ba kasi dapat tayong dalawa pa dadalhin doon?" Reklamo ko kay Alix. She then raised her brow at me.

"Bakit ano ba meron sa Australia?" Pang-aasar nya.

It's been 5 years since Sol went to Australia to manage their company, it's been 5 years since we broke up. I don't have any contact with him because hindi ko kayang balikan ulit ang nakaraan. I didn't even checked his social media, I don't know maybe kasal na sya doon.

"W-wala!" Depensa ko naman.

"Oh bakit mukhang defensive ka?"

"Ayoko na mag-salita alam kong hindi mo 'ko titigilan." I said as I sipped on my coffee.

"I already booked your flight, and also the hotel. Mayroon din kayong extra week to roam around Australia." Mom said as she handed us our tickets.

"Mom, kailangan po ba talaga na kami ang ipadala doon?" I asked her. She looked at me with confusion, "Bakit Luna? Do you have a problem with Australia? or yung nasa Australia?" She said before laughing so hard. Pati si Alix ay natawa na din.

"MOM! At talagang pagtutulungan nyo pa ako? I feel so betrayed!" I said while I dramatically placed my hands on my chest.

"Come on Luna, it's been 5 years! Move on already!  And also, Australia is so big, there's no chance of meeting him, unless you want to find him." She said while playfully raising her brows at me. Ginaya naman ito ni Alix.
