A single life in the night sky
Matches the innocence of her eyes
Eyes that once fixed upon me
Beamed with the glow of a thousand rubies
Midnights spent gazing at the gems
That dotted the sky
With her warmth to coat the mist
That shielded us from the unknown
Seconds flow into years
That I don't feel her eyes on mine
He stole the spark from within her
And painted it across the heavens
So that the moon shone the brightest of them all
