what was i supposed to say? "i'm sorry you got involved with a suicidal girl who can't stop loving her drug addict boyfriend" ?
calum sat there with a blank face. it seemed as if either of us could cry at any second. me because michael was high, cal because i didn't love him back.
the tv was playing softly in the background, the news was on. everything was quiet. everything was calm and tense as if one disruption would break everything. my phone started ringing next to me.
"turn on the news."
