"Pop, we couldn't get into anything. She was starting out with music and I would be too busy training for basketball anyway. Plus I had ended up entering music so I would be very busy." I informed him as I placed my bag in my lap, adding my shoes and other equipment into it.

"I aughta fuck you up Christopher." I laughed as I zipped it close. "Let's go home so I can rest for my game." I slapped his knee walking to the exit.

I could feel someone watching me and to no surprise it was Beyoncé. I stood up and stared at her. She was no longer a little girl but a grown ass woman and she looked sexy as fuck. I smiled at her and I watched as her face turned a light shade of red.

"Still got it." I mumbled to myself before walking out of the arena. I spotted my driver next to the SUV I arrived in. I got in and five minutes after my father got in next to me.

I took out my phone scrolling down my Twitter feed. I saw a few tweets about me and basketball and others about my music. I recently released my album Indigo and I was planning for a tour this summer but I'm not sure if I'm gonna change the dates to fall. I still have some other things to plan out with my team so that will most likely be the last thing on my list.

"Your mother said your ass better not forget about the barbeque this weekend." My father informed me. I nodded my head continuing my search down my twitter feed. "It's gonna be the entire of Tappaha there so how could I forget." My father and I chuckled. My mother knew everyone and Tappahannock is small so mostly everyone was acquainted with one another.

"Beyoncé to be singing the national anthem and the half time show at tomorrow's NBA finals." I spoke softly. No wonder she was there. Plus her husband had been trying to get me to play for his team but Virginia is my home and I'll rep for my city until the day I die.

I looked at the picture of her and I smiled. I still couldn't believe she still had such a hold on me. It scared me but still kept me on my feet. I closed my eyes, resting my head against the window.

"Chris stop!" I laughed pulling away from her. "Don't eat my chicken Christopher." She warned me but I still bit into the hot wing. "I hate you!" I grinned with sauce dripping down my chin.

"We both know that's a lie so hush." I kissed her lips as I wrapped the bone in a napkin. "Plus I'm paying for it." I laughed as I poked her side. "Stop! I'm tryna be mad at you right now!" She shifted away from me and I frowned.

"If you don't stop playing and come back here." I pulled her towards me by her loop on her pants. She huffed folding her arms across her chest. I smirked bringing my hands down to her side. "You mad at me baby?" I said with my lips close to her ear. I kissed it softly causing her to gasp. I smirked pulling her closer to me.

"You know I wanted the wing and you still ate it." She pouted. I looked at her and I smiled at her. "You so cute baby even when you're mad at me." I leaned down and kissed her nose. I moved in the second time but my lips latched onto hers. I chuckled into the kiss as my eyes closed down slowly. I felt her hand on my knee as she leaned into it more.

It started to get heated and I pulled away. "I'll make it up to you baby girl." I spoke with our foreheads rested against each other. "Okay." I smiled hearing her angelic voice.

"I miss you baby girl." I mumbled reopening my eyes. We passed a few houses before we turned down the road to mine.
