Introducing Zain

They got back and felicity asked both John and Oliver for dinner at her place. This was when she planned to tell them about Zain, a couple evenings later the day finally came, felicity prepared Zain telling him that she has guests and he need to be there as she was going to introduce him and he agreed evidently excited about this. Zain knew his mom loved him and also why she never introduced him to any of her acquaintances or friends because they could harm him and she could not let that happen. However she did make sure he knew exactly who she met. Felicity was in the kitchen and the door bell rang, Zain rushed to open the door as he was really looking forward to meet his moms friends. When he opened the door, john and Oliver standing out side assume they knocked at the wrong house apologised and were ready to leave when Zain said his mother felicity is preparing food so he opened the door and that they are at the right place. As he said this he welcomed them inside . felicity came out and welcomed John and Oliver introducing Zain and said dinner was ready and they should eat she will answer all their questions later. They trusted her and agreed cause they understood what felicity was implying as their questions may be inappropriate for Zain.
After dinner felicity asked them to wait as she put Zain to bed and locked his room from out side, she came back and took her for and said a few commands addressed to an AI system Archie. She said " good evening Archie please turn on sound proof mode in Zain's room and monitor his sleep." And got a affirmative reply. Oliver and Diggle were shocked, but the kept calm and asked her why she never mentioned having a child before. She didn't know where to begin but nevertheless said " my life was not that simple and as you know I too have my secrets, I can't dwell on them much with out destroying myself but basically what you need to know is I didn't have a normal childhood, my dad had left use and I was just 8, I had a younger sister her name was Aleeza and she was 6 .and my mum struggled to raise the two of us, she was mostly out working and I matured my self to help care for Aleeza." Diggle was going to interrupt and felicity signalled him to wait as she continued " some of my decisions of being away from them led to Aleeza working with the cops at a very early age, she grew up and was pregnant by the age of 18 her boyfriend , mahin was a few years older and worked with her, he loved her and after about 6 months of convincing my mum Aleeza and mahin were off to tie another when one off their captured criminal set free and kidnapped them , as much as I tried I could not save mahin but took Aleeza to a hospital as she was 8 months pregnant and due to being physically injured her labour pains had started ,and zain was born but Aleeza couldn't handle the earlier assault and passed away due to too much blood loss. Before she died she made me promise that I would take care of Zain. To fulfill my promise I adopted him and I hide him from everyone to keep away from other criminals who seeks revenge from Aleeza or mahin." Felicity was in tears by now and Oliver and Diggle could tell she was blaming herself for her sister's death. Oliver and Diggle gave her a hug and calmed her down.Once they heard her side they forgave her for hiding this truth and were glad she trusted them enough
