The next day I tried to act as normal as I could, but with everything Scott told me last night, about the fire, Laura, Derek's sister and the people peter had killed, I was pretty far past normal.

However, my limits were being tested as Allison invited Lydia and myself, out with her to go shopping, by that didn't seem like the case because here we were hiking through the woods. Lydia was groaning, Allison looked like she was about to become Nancy Drew, and I couldn't figure out which bothered me more, the fact that Peter and Derek were on the same side or that I just scuffed my boots for the fifth time since I got out of the car.

"Allison, when you said you needed to stop for an errand before we went shopping, a five-mile hike in the woods was not what I was expecting," Lydia said with a sign as we struggled to keep up with Allison,

"Yea, these boots were not made for walking," I said emphasising the fact that I wasn't too happy about being here,

"Before I forget, I wanted to ask if you're okay with something. Jackson asked me to the winter formal," Allison told us, completely ignoring our complaints,

"Did he?" Lydia asked trying to cover her true feelings,

"Ew," I groaned, Lydia glanced at me and I rolled my eyes at her,

"Huh, just as friends. But I just wanted to make sure you're okay with it first," Allison told her, and I rolled my eyes at them,

"Sure, as long as it's just friends," Lydia said almost out of breathe,

"Well, yeah, I mean, it's not like I would take him to the coach's office during lacrosse practice to make out with him or anything," Allison said and I could hear the spite in her voice, as she glanced over her shoulder,

"Uh, about that..." Lydia started to trail out,

"Here we go," I said with a chuckle,

After hearing Lydia explain her make out session with Scott, to which I already picked up on, Allison was kind of not bothered by it. She had this look determined look on her face, and I couldn't tell what it was about.

We walked further into the woods, before Allison stopped us and started to undo her bow and quiver. She took out an arrow and started to screw a large, shaped arrow head into the arrow.

"What does that do?" Lydia asked her, and I squinted at the item because I was curious as to if this was a werewolf hunting thing or not,

"We're about to find out," Allison said as she stood up, and took aim at a tree, she fired the arrow and as it struck the tree it exploded like a flare with a puff of smoke,

"Holy crap," I muttered with wide eyes,

"What the hell was that?" Lydia asked her,

"I don't know," Allison told her, I looked at her stance and she was unmoved, it was like this was natural to her,

Well...that was fun! Any more lethal weapons you wanna try out?" Lydia asked as we walked up to her, but a snapping sound made us look up, we paused and it came again this time further in the woods, but he couldn't see anything through the fog,

"Red flag," I whispered to them as another snap echoed through the woods, we looked back then forward again, "the red flag is going up, ladies,"

"Hold this," Allison said giving Lydia her bow,

"What? Why?" Lydia asked her, in a whisper,

"Because I thought I heard something," Allison whispered as she was taking off her gloves,
