Chapter 7: Disaster

Nagisa is having a bad day, it was kinda dumb to be honest but he was having a bad time spending approximately an hour or two whether what to send to Kayano, he was hesitating whether asking her on a lunch together or dinner, he was afraid if Kayano would even accept the offer

He was aware that Kayano must've been busy for today and might not make it due to her full schedule and the last thing that he wanted to do was to distract her or make her obligated to have lunch with him,

He knew that years had passed and things have changed now, they're not middle schoolers who have all the time in the world to hang out and he didn't have a clue if she has someone now or if she has her eyes set on someone

Feeling frustrated, Nagisa let out a big sigh and sat on the sofa feeling defeated, eyes staring at the ceiling

Nagisa have no more work to do, he had cleaned his whole apartment as he always do, washed all his clothes and hanged to dry, washed all the dishes, did the lecture plan for his students

So the last thing that Nagisa did was to open the tv, he doesn't watch tv that much for he was busy every so often but today isn't like any typical day so he decided to watch some shows

He switched the channels to the weekend animes to wildlife to the local news which caught his attention

'Haruna Mase spotted on a date with leading partner Daiki Saito'

Nagisa caught the sight of the actress and by now he was seating at the edge of his seat felt shocked when he saw her

he didn't know that Haruna Mase was Kayano Kaede!

Feeling perplexed, Nagisa continued watching

The reporter continued 'It was taken by a fan during a rainy day and noticed that the two had made their way to the set with Daiki wrapped his arm around on Haruna's shoulder sharing a single umbrella, this is such a sweet scene and I believe their upcoming movie Love Triangle will definitely be a hit!'

Nagisa then switched off the tv feeling something that he never felt before, Nagisa thought that he was stupid to think that Kayano would look at him that way,

Comparing himself to that guy, he seemed to have a huge advantage to have Kayano to like him, he's tall, more handsome, succesful actor that kayano would definitely relate to

Nagisa didn't changed that much throughout the years, although he gained some height and he cut his hair short, he still looked like a highschool student rather than a teacher and that's his biggest insecurity

Nagisa sighed and dragged his way to his bedroom leaving the note, deciding to sleep it off, that maybe, if maybe he can be woken up in this nightmare

Nagisa woke up to Kayano's nudging and soft voice, she's been calling him for the nth time now, he was so exhausted he didn't know what to do but realizing that Kayano's awake now, he, not thinking, hugged Kayano tightly

"I thought I lost you" Nagisa said tears falling down from his cheeks,

"Hmm" Kayano whom by now was surprised that Nagisa was there and is hugging her like his life depended on it, only nodded in response as she wrapped her hands around Nagisa relishing the warm body against her

"Yo! Oh-- get back! Get back"

Upon hearing Karma and the others, Nagisa pulled back immediately after wiping his tears off, Kayano sighed silently wishing that it could last a little longer but smiled instead as she was glad that everyone was here to check up on her
