Chapter 5: Morning

Nagisa woke up first when the ray of sunshine fell on his eyes, after letting his eyes adjust on the sudden light, he almost jumped when he saw Kayano resting on his arm facing him and the only thing that kept their distance is her arms

Feeling his face blush, he unconsciously stared at kayano noting that she looked even more beautiful if thats even possible, sure she gotten taller and her hair longer but after they talked for several hours, she's the same Kayano he knew,

He smiled at that thought, never did he knew that after all these years will he realize that Kayano hold a place in his heart, that he was too dense to know his own feelings.

It all started when Kayano tied his hair, people would've judge him the way he talk or walk, or the way that he kept his hair down for personal reasons but when Kayano walked in, never did she judged him but instead she made his life better and showed him the way

Sure she revealed her own nature and plan to take revenge to them before but it seemed like it hurted him more than everyone else, that their memories together or the whole class were just a lie, it didn't sit in well with him and due to his desperation,

he decided to kiss her..

Nagisa haven't kissed anyone before but when he did with Kayano, it exploded a lot of emotions inside him that never he felt before,

Though his real intention was to save her from her bloodlust but he thought about it in his dreams when he has his guard down

even so after all that, he was scared that kayano will be mad at him, or that he felt scared that he almost lost her,

He shivered at the thought, the lifeless form of kayano terrified him the most but now that she slept next to him it seemed like a dream

Unconsciously, Nagisa traced Kayano's facial features, from her eyebrows that seemed relaxed, her closed eyes that hides her bright amber eyes, her pointed nose and her pinkish lips,

Nagisa never noticed that his finger lingered there, he remembered when their lips touched, it was so soft that he almost didn't want it to end,

'But what if Kayano didn't feel the same way?.. I am just an ordinary teacher and Kayano... well, Kayano's an actress now, definitely there's a lot of guys who trampled at her feet, taller, more handsome and richer than me'

Suddenly Kayano's eyes fluttered open, Nagisa froze and his breath hitched as he retrieved his hand as fast as he can from being at her lips,

Kayano on the other hand was already awake when she noticed that Nagisa's staring at her, she didn't want to wake up since she's very comfortable laying down on Nagisa's arm,

She tried not to blush when she felt Nagisa's finger traced every contours of her face, it feels like a dream to be honest but she is confused as well as to why Nagisa's finger traced her with such carefulness and affection, as if he's memorizing every feature

Kayano wasn't dense as Nagisa and she at the very least thought about if Nagisa secretly harbor feelings for her?

She wants to know the answer so she opened her eyes,

Upon looking at Nagisa, he suddenly froze at the moment and retract his arm from her, it's as if he was caught red handed

'Crap!' Nagisa thought as he immediately retracted his arm, he by no means was suddenly captivated by her eyes, he was caught in the act and he knew it

He tried to talk but he can't even open his mouth, it's as if his mind suddenly loss control of his body but moves accordingly,

They stared at each other for so long waiting for each other to break the silence but no one dared. Nagisa being the assassin that he is never thought that his own technique would be used against him by Kayano
