Chapter 53: Victory is ours (Mega Chapter and Grand Finale)

We quietly walked through the armory room and suddenly I felt something is wrong. I turned around to see that one of the crates had just moved from its original position. Then out of that crate, one of the Enemy Commanders (The Romanian Commander) came out from inside the crate, holding a gun and starting shooting us with his gun. Judging by the looks of it, it's a SMG

"Hey John! Look out!" I shouted at John who is already ahead of me. He turned around looking at me and then at the Enemy Commander that i mentioned

We then quickly scrambled to find covers while the enemy was raining down bullets after bullets at us. We went to hide behind what looks like to be a metallic box. The fired bullets were deflected by the metallic pipe as the deflected bullets bounced off from the crate as they flew everywhere but the direction or the enemy's direction. The bullets hit the walls hitting therefore creating a number of small holes because of the bullets impact. Eventhough all of the enemy's shots were all but bounced off and missed its target, the enemy keep firing. Then he stopped firing, probably because he ran out of ammunition and needed to reload his gun. I counted that he shot at least about 30 bullets

"You Allies scum will die in my hands. Just you wait until I get you!" the enemy commander shouted at us with a rather questionable accent that I'm unfamiliar with, throwing his threats and gloats at us

I peeked out from my hiding spot to see what he was doing. I spotted him reloading his gun while hiding back inside the crate. I was about to shoot the crate that I thought was wood-crafted with my gun since I was told by John that the bullets can penetrate through woods. but then i noticed the surface of the crate and realized that it wasn't wood that i was about to shoot. Yes it looks like it was wood-crafted crate but the shining surface of the crate was made me realize that it's not a wood-crafted crate, it's a metal-manufactured crate. Welp, there goes my chance of killing him with one shot

"You're about to shoot him right? Well that's not going to work. That crate is made of metal but polished and colored like it was made from wood" John told me blankly. I chuckled nervously

"Yeah, i noticed that too" i said to him. Then John peeked from his hiding spot to look at the enemy commander. When he spotted the enemy commander, he quickly pulled out a grenade. Well, he's well prepared for this

"Distract him, I'll throw this grenade at him. I can't throw it from here because it's too far so I need to get closer to him. Understood?" He told me as he peeked out from his right side to see if he could find the perfect spot for him to run at and to throw the grenade from. I nodded in understanding as I readied my gun. When he goes towards the throwing spot, I exposed myself to the enemy by standing up and starting shooting at the enemy using my gun. All of my shots either missed its target or bounced off of the metallic crate. I know this already but it was all for distraction so that the General won't notice John approaching by. The General returned fire after he finished reloading his gun. I fired all of the rounds available in my gun. In the meantime John was approaching the throwing spot while there ' as firefight broke out between me and the General, the General didn't seem to notice that John was nearby, he just kept his attention at me by shooting his gun at me. I keep firing at him too until John reaches his position

After a short firefight, I finally ran out of ammo. So i ducked back behind the cover. I glanced over John who is already in position. He then pulled the pin out from the grenade he was holding as he threw it at the General's position. I noticed that the grenade landed right inside the metallic crate where the General is. Then, about 3 seconds later, * BOOM! * It went off as it let out a medium explosion, throwing off the General out of his hiding place as he landed on the floor. Then the General's body is puffed and turned into an inventory loot which means he's dead. One more Commanders out, three more to go and then we can win this battle. With the death of this General, now it's just Karl the Supreme Commander, the other General who wore a similar outfit to the Italians, and Cassie Rose aka the White Pumpkin although I don't '
