All four of them just stood there in awe, not believing how a huge forest could fit underneath a little shack, Charlotte-Mae looking at one of the green plants next to her, slowly picking up her hand, letting her fingers trail under the soft leaves, only to suddenly snap her hand away as it perked up slightly, it's color changing into a much healthier green.

"What is this place?" Jack asked

Again, he got no answer, Seth and Sara started walking off into the trees and again, the other two followed them, ducking under branches and leaves and such, having no idea where they were going. But Seth and Sara seemed to have an idea, because they just followed Seth's beeping device. The group separated, Sara was with Jack and Charlotte-Mae was with Seth, the brunette looking around at the plants that she thought were beautiful. But there were a few things she didn't notice, 1) Seth kept glancing at her every few seconds, 2) after every plant brushed against her exposed skin, it would perk up and turn into a healthier green. Finally, Seth stopped in front of some glowing, blue, slimy looking plant, the device beeping rapidly,

"Sara! It's here!" He announced and Sara came running from where she and Jack were standing

She came up to the ball of glowing goo and took off a necklace that looked like a futuristic arrow, placing it on top of the goo and pressed a button, making it light up. Then, she inserted her hand into the goo and various squishing sounds protruded from it, pulling out a black device, both siblings smiled with excitement.

"What is it?" Charlotte-Mae asked

"This is what we came for Charlotte-Mae" Sara said, smiling

"Is anyone else looking for it?" Jack asked and both siblings looked up at him, "say, the person who trashed everything upstairs?"

"We think so" Seth replied with a small nod "it is very valuable. Which is why it is vital we locate it first"

"But what makes you so sure that whoever else is looking for it, isn't still looking for it?" Charlotte-Mae asked, causing Seth to look at her in confusion, noticing that she was rubbing her arm once more

Suddenly, a loud bang rang through the trees, the four of them whipped toward the sound. Another bang rang out and they crouched slightly, Jack looked at the three teens, raising his finger to his lips, indicating for them to be quiet. Slowly, they turned and started to head away from the sound into the bushes and stopped, Jack went in front of them, his block of wood ready. Heavy footsteps came from in front and behind them. Seth, Sara and Charlotte-Mae turning towards the back, trying to see what was making the noise through the leaves. Suddenly, the leaves started rustling like crazy and the thing began coming closer.

"Run!! Run!! Run!!!" Jack shouted

They obeyed, sprinting through the bushes, back in the direction of the basement. Seth, Sara and Charlotte-Mae ran, but Jack stopped and tried to hit the thing with his block of wood. The black covered person punched him in the face and he went flying,

"Ugh!" He cried, causing Charlotte-Mae to stop running

"Jack!" She yelled

She was about to run back to try and help him, but felt something grab her hand, causing her to turn around, seeing that Seth was the one who grasped her hand,

"You cannot help him!" Sara cried "the Siphon is too strong!"

"The what?" Charlotte-Mae asked

"An assassin sent to destroy us" Seth said, watching as she shook her head slightly

"But -" looking back at Jack

"The only help you can give him is to hide, Charlotte-Mae" Seth said
