"what?" mike asked.
jane has decided to go to mike's house with him.
"max. she kissed me." jane clarified.
"i told will that i liked him." mike confessed.
the two looked at each other.
"did you ask me out to hide your feelings for will?" jane asked.
"yeah. did you say yes to hide your feelings for max?" mike asked.
"yeah." jane replied.
"well, we're both users." mike sighed.
jane let out a small laugh.
"what do we do?" she asked.
"i don't know. i hate myself for being mean to will. i did it because i didn't want to admit my feelings for him. i didn't want to admit that i really like him." mike explained.
"and i hate myself for saying yes to you. not because i don't like you. well, you were an asshole to my friends and i, but that's not the point. the point is that i didn't want to admit i liked max and i hate myself for it." jane said.
"i think...i think we need to do something special for them." mike said.
"something special, like what?" jane asked.
"here, let me show you." mike replied and grabbed jane's arm.
"where are we going?" mike asked.
"somewhere that no one else goes to." mike answered and took her outside.
he got on his bike and she got on back and he started riding away from his house.
"how do you know that nobody goes there?" jane asked.
"because i've been there all the time when i need to clear my head, but before, we need some supplies. now, let me explain." mike said.
"okay, go ahead." jane sighed and mike started explaining his plan.
