"minji you coming with us to the café later?" hongjoong asked as they walked inside the school, students looking at them as always. they were often watched by the students; a disadvantage of being somewhat popular.

"yeah sure" the girl replied, plastering a smile on her face. jisung grinned and ruffled her hair, causing the girl to pout and pat it back down.

"you ready to endure another day of ew- academics" yuta shuddered, thinking about the pure negative feeling he gets from school. he just hates doing schoolwork- hence why hes the soccer captain.

"not entirely" minji drawled tiredly, shutting her eyes for a second and already feeling like she was about to fall aslee again.

"come on, at least your Bs are better than our straight Fs" jaebum joked, elbowing her slightly.

"speak for yourself, i get As" jisung snorted, receiving glares from the elders.

"whats even happening with that chanyeol kid? has he found friends?" baekhyun asked, minji nodding.

"hes mates with like taeyong, minho, jongin and that"

"oh so hes friends with the dance team? jisung?" yuta turned to the younger boy who just shrugged.

"i know hes not on the dance team and im friends with you rats so how am i supposed to know" he said, sighing.

"call us rats one more time and youll be shoved down a drain" jaebum joked.

"hey dont shove jisungie down the drain" minji pouted, wrapping her small arms around the tall boy as he stuck his tongue out at the elders.

"yah park minji did you hear the news?" baekhyun asked, pulling her towards where their group were all stood in the hallway.

"no? what happened?" she let herself get dragged by the boy, coming to a stop in front of the others when she nearly lost her footing, only just being caught by jisung.

"remember kim yugyeom?" yuta asked, looking up from his phone screen before turning it to show minji.

"he was found dead an hour ago in han river"
