(Y/n) (L/n), or her code name, Grim Reaper, was one of the Leaf's most feared shinobi. Because of her hooded face, all of her foes assumed she was an old male. After all, there was no way a teenager, much less a female, could possess so much power. But the Chunin Exams she took a year ago made one thing clear: she was a powerful shinobi whose powers were still developing.
Speaking of powers, her skills include teleportation, or making portals (she's not so great at making long-distance ones), exceptional use of her scythe, which could morph into double blades when needed and even split in two, and telekinesis (but only a few small objects at a time). Her ninjutsu and taijutsu was great, and it was even rumored that she was developing a special genjutsu that could scare someone shitless. No specifics are known, but let's just say the test subjects for this technique are now residing in mental asylums.

(Y/n) was taken in by the 5th Hokage when she healed her and saved her life along with the rest of the team's on a mission. That's when Lady Tsunade asked her to move from her cozy treehouse to the Leaf Villiage, which she hesitantly accepted. Although (Y/n) had exceptional healing powers, she decided to become a shinobi rather than a medical-nin. Of course, she had some trouble with classmates for being an outsider and much older than them, but she grew close with Konoha 11, a group more closer to her age. She became very well-liked by everyone, and it soon developed into somewhat of a reverse harem with the boys: all the male shinobi started to develop a crush on her, and she always feigned obliviousness.

There was one person (Y/n) became especially close to. Maybe it was because he, like you, put up a fake smile, although yours seemed more realistic than his. Maybe it was because you were both orphans, living in your lonely apartments. Maybe it was because you two both liked to read books. Whatever it was, you two were drawn to each other, and just like that, you became friends.

Nothing could prepare anyone for this situation.
Sai drew back from your embrace, shook. "Wh- what are you talking about, (Y/n)?"
