A moment of inspiration from the show:
So I got an idea from when Alia had instigated Riya against her mom and Riya had become distressed. Riya then called Pragya to talk to her and meet up with her at the Fine Diner restaurant. Riya left the restaurant before Abhi came inside and then Abhi got drunk and Pragya had to take care of him. What would have happened if Riya came back to get her phone and saw Abhi hugging and being close to Pragya? What would she think? Would she realize that something was going on between them? Would she realize the truth that "Prachi's mom" is her mom too?
However, in my story Alia isn't evil, so she wasn't the one who instigated Riya against Pragya. It was someone else who will be revealed later.
(If you guys don't know which episode I'm talking about, I think that the episode aired around October 20, 2019. You guys can go watch it if you want more context. I was re-watching Kumkum Bhagya and I believe that that was a good time to reveal such a thing because Riya hadn't done a lot of bad stuff by then, she was still redeemable).

Now my own twist:
In my story, Abhi and Pragya will meet after 21 years instead of 20 on the show. Prachi got the scholarship to Delhi in the last year of her college, the first year of her college she did in Hoshiarpur. Ranbir joined the college the same year as Prachi. And Riya went to the same college from the very beginning. Ranbir, Prachi, and Riya are all in their last year of college. Both Riya and Prachi are 21 years old.
Another different thing is that after Pragya came to Delhi, she applied for a job at the college and works as a math professor at Riya and Prachi's college. Also Riya, in my story helps Abhi in his business.
But the parts where Riya tried to ragg Prachi, framed her for stealing, and told Ranbir to make Prachi fall in love with him are still the same.
Also, the part where Riya accidentally hit Pragya with her car is the same. But Riya has a better reason for doing so than she did on the show. It's misplaced anger with Prachi and an honest mistake when she hit Pragya.
Riya has a past that will be revealed as the story continues.
Anything else that I didn't mention, didn't happen. As they truly began to ruin Riya's character in the later episodes which I've purged from my memory in order to write this story.
