The Ending Blaze

Chapter 1

It's not easy not knowing what the outside world is like.

You probably don't know what I'm on about you're probably asking "What, who doesn't know that?" Um well that would be me. I've been stuck here, at camp half blood, ever since my dad Apollo (Yes the god), dropped me off at the young age of zero, yup that's right i was about an hour old.

See my mum died having me, not something i like telling people, it makes me feel like it was my fault, which i've been told many times by Chiron it wasn't, but let's not go into that.

I'm Jae Miller and yes, I'm a demigod.

Don't get me wrong, I love camp, but not leaving is kind of boring. All I did everyday was train or work in the infirmary and I was sick of it.

The only time I've been out of camp was when the second titan war was going on and let's be honest with each other that's not really seeing the outside world. I mean everyone was sleeping, half New York was blown up and I was inside most of the time tending to people's wounds.

All I ever wanted was a quest, I'd seen people going on quests like Percy and Annabeth saving the world and things like that. I was always stuck at camp fixing people.

The only person to keep me sane was my best friend Quinn Lee. He was an Athena kid, but he didn't really act like one. Yes he was extremely smart but he didn't show it. He was also so sick of looking like the rest of his siblings in the Athena cabin he had dyed his hair blue. Like bright blue he came to camp one summer with bright blue hair and he's had it ever since. You should have seen Percy's face, I'm pretty sure he was in love with it. It took Annabeth a few days to talk him out of doing it himself.

Anyway Quinn was my best friend he kept me updated on what the world was doing. He was great.

And just as I started to accept my life everything changed.

Everything started to go bad the day she arrived.
